Bottle from Windy City liquor. Nice seasionable beer I’d prolly drink more of if I were consistently closer. Mild citrus aromas and flavors with a bit of grassy herbal touches to it. Pours cloudy dark orange with big white head. Finish is a little spicey pepper. Full bodied caramel malt and nice sweetness to balance it all out.

8 Mar 2014, tap at Manzanita Brewing. Darkish yellow, clear, no bubbles. Nose is resin hops. Med body and mildly fizzy. Faintly sweet, mainly bitter grapefruit rind citrus. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle from the IGA in Winters, CA. I love IPA that are not overly bitter. Lots of citrus flavor here with just the right amount of hop. Could of had a little more body to it. Still a solid brew. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

650 ml. bottle says 6.8% not 8%. Lightly hazy copper with a small disc of cream on top. Nose is pineapple, spicy toffee and resin. Tastes of pineapple, resiny herb, crisp and spicy apple. Long bitter finish of peppery cardboard and spearmint. Light-medium body is a little too fizzy but has a nice balance.

Pours a clear copper with white head that lingers. Moderate citrus leads the aroma. As it warmed, a biscuity malt was more prevalent. Flavor follows aroma, but a little bit of wet paper as well.

Did not like the smell or the medicine hop like aftertaste. I've had this before and it was similar.

Snappy and crisp IPA. Nips and zings of spices, pepper, and hot alcohol. Lesser notes of citrus and grass. Aromas are a bit restrained. Malts are mild, slightly toasted, and faintly sweet. Bold yet mostly balanced bitterness.

Bottle shared by brew3crew. Poured clear dark amber color with an average frothy off-white head that lasted with excellent lacing. Moderate complex hop aroma. Medium body with a slick texture and soft carbonation. Medium bittersweet flavor with a medium bittersweet finish of moderate duration. This a good brew.
