8 Mar 2014, tap at Manzanita Brewing. Light red, clear, no bubbles. Nose is lightly toasted bread. Thin body and moderately fizzy. Sugary bread, faint caramel, some brown sugar. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

A decent red, not super interesting but smooth and tasty overall. Pours a nice amber color with a light white head. Smells like beer with maybe a hint of vanilla. Taste is a bit fruity upfront with a hint of hops in the finish. Very smooth but forgettable. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

This beer has a very rich amber color. A really mild aroma and underwhelming taste when it hits your tongue. It does however develop a very pleasing aftertaste. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

marcus (6538) - Sacramento, California, USA - NOV 14, 2013
Bottle from Capitol Beer, Sacramento. Pours reddish brown with a thick beige head and a red malt aroma. There is a bitter dark malt flavor that just doesnít taste very good. Dry finish.

Bomber from Sprouts. Lord know how long it has been there. Pours the appropriate hue for a red ale, started out with a healthy dose of foam and hung onto to it for a while too. After 15 minutes in the glass it still has a half a finger of decent off white foam, laces nicely. Aroma is faint of crystal malts and yeast. Not sure why but the yeast scent is prevalent on this beer. Taste is decent, clean, a bit on the malty side. Very weak of hop flavor until some fruity sweetness kicks in at the end of the game. Solid. Unspectacular... just what I was expecting.

Fatehunter (1239) - Corbett, Oregon, USA - SEP 28, 2013
Poured a thin head on a clear, deep amber colored body. The aroma has a strong caramel smell with a lemon note in the background. The taste starts with caramel sweet and abruptly moves to a sharp lemon bitter flavor. Itís on the sweet side overall. The texture is crisp with soft edges and moderate carbonation. Itís not that great or interesting.

Barreras (988) - Diamond Bar, California, USA - SEP 22, 2013
Pours a copper and red color with a malt aroma. A light sweet caramel flavor with notes of molasses. A slight bitter aftertaste with a hoppy aftertaste that disappears quickly. More of a good red beer style than amber ale.

ABUSEDGOAT (2403) - California, USA - SEP 9, 2013
Reddish amber, moderate sized head, some lace/retention. Aroma is grass, caramel, nut, toast. Medium to light bodied, yay another amber ale how exciting.

Bottle; poured a dark auburn type color. Flavor was very faint, with some earthiness and nuttiness. Flavor was again mild, but nothing offputting. Slightly sweet, earth and nuts. Palate was borderline watery.

Bottle; poured an auburn color. Aroma was very light, with some earthiness and nuts. Flavor was somewhat strange. Watery palate. Hard to get a grasp of.
