Mar 2, 2004 Black coffee aroma is pronounced. Slight tan head with decent lacing. Rather tart, but quaffable. Good session stout.

Feb 1, 2004 Sample at the brewpub. Nice thick opacity, thick smallish head. Nose sweet at first, but an unfortunate sour milk hint taints it. Very sweet and chocolaty to the taste, smooth long finish. Too bad about that aroma.
