COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
North Dakota is #1 many years in honey production. We use North Dakota honey and apples to make this semi-sweet white wine. Very similar to a Riesling grape wine. Initial honey taste followed by apple. The North Dakota honey predominantly comes from Alfalfa and Clover fields. Enjoy chilled.

750ml bottle, clear glass. Pours clear yellow. Smells of honey. Tastes of very sweet honey, cloyingly sweet. As it warms there is an apple tartness. Very light, fruit apple-ness. Mostly honey flavors. ABV is very well hidden behind the sweetness. Overall, apple essence mead. All US States complete! . (3800)

Bottle at a tasting at James’s place. Pours a clear straw gold. Soft apple and honey on the nose. Sweet, honey and apple again, sweet, sticky apple. Warm on the finish, but very thin. Not a lot going on, but tasty enough and drinkable.

그진 물같이 색없는 연한 황색. 페퍼민트 같은 향에 맛도 좀 민트맛이 남...

Tasted as Chateau de Bakken. Sampled on 11/3/2012. This mead pours a medium orange gold color from a 750ml bottle. No head. The aroma is fruity and sweet, honey and apples. A medium bodied mead. Lots of semi sweet honey and semi-sweet apples. The apple flavors are prevalent and a touch tart as well. There is still a lot of honey and sweetness as well. Fairly smooth. Nice too sweet as there is some apple tartness to balance. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly sweet.

Bottle at the source. Pale yellow color, flat aroma of sweet apples. Taste is sweet honey, dried apples. Too sweet for my taste.
