4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottle from Cotteridge Wines, Birmingham. Super good balance: outstanding really. Great citric hops, but not raw or overpowering. Bergamot is subtle for sure, but provides correction, like Carry on Teacher. A massive bottle of this werenít enough.

From bottle. Dark golden color. Great foamy head. Best chilled but not cold. Smells of citrusy herbs. Taste medium bitterness. Not terribly bitter, but enough to know itís a good IPA. Citrus, slight licorice, medium body, long finish. Not a strong tea flavor, but helps tone down the IBUs. Would buy again.

4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle, Marble, Chorlton. Poured a good looking slightly hazy orange with a plump lingering white head. Aroma was bright and enticing with nice tropical fruit, tea, sweet malt and grassy hop. Some good hop bitterness in the flavour which was clean and zesty with slight tea notes. Very drinkable with great balance. Nice one.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 14/20
Gravity pour at The Gun IPA fest. Pours a hazy orange gold with a thin head. Sweet, piney, candy, tree bark aroma. Light to medium body, very mild carbonation. Sweet and sugary, the tea gives it a soda flavour as well as a note of jack daniels, weirdly. No, not a fan.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Sampled at 4 Hands. Dingy gold with a smallblotchy head. An sroma of camomileand passion fruit. Only a little tea is tasted. Fruit is tasty here. This is nicely done even though the tea adds minimally.

Medium beige coarseish head with spots of dark yeast. Slightly hazy amber body with dark yeast floaties. Spicy orangey bergamot aroma with perfumy lavender notes. Dry-sweet, and slightly astringent, orangey bergamot taste with spicy cinnamon notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, slightly hot mouthfeel. Dryish spicy lavender aftertaste with orangey grape notes. Lovely, delicate, and unusual. (0.75l bottle, from House of Trembling Madness, York.)

I was surprised, but itís actually possible to taste the tea. I was even more surprises that IPA and tea is a really great combination.
