This is a far better beer than I expected, best Marble brew so far. Pours a beautiful murky golden haze, the aroma is melon and citrus. Medium oily body with soft carbonation. The taste is dank, catty, citrus bitterness, with a deep sweet melon and peach flavour. The after-taste is long and satisfyingLy complex, with an astringency towards the end, that i’m guessing is down to the tea, that it sits perfectly in this IPA. Will be getting more of this!

Draft at King Arthur, Rome. Pretty light gold, gray foam. Huge grapefruit hop character, almost artificially so. Smooth, good malty body with tropical perfume. Slight dry-buttering finish, but quite juicy flavor overall.

Clear golden beer with a bubbly white head and a strong, spicy citrus aroma. Sweet fruity hop is the main flavour, along with what I assume is the tea. Quite unique and very tasty.

Pint-sized bottle bought @Brouwerij De Molen. Nowhere on the bottle it shows it’s a collab with Emelisse, so this must be an Earl Grey IPA from Manchester Marble itself. A very good IPA, hoppy, flowery, bitter and the wonderful touch of earl grey tea. Very good.

Cask-conditioned on gravity at the Pelican, Gloucester, 5/6/2015. Deep gold in colour, with a decent, white, head. Aroma of oranges, grassy hops and tea leaves. Flavour had some oily citrus fruits, some subdued tea character and a dryish finish with over-prominent alcohol. Good overall.

Cask, hand-pulled, State Bar, grassy, earl grey aroma, clear deep golden, thin bubbly off-white head, negligible lacing, earl grey flavour, viscous, very easy to drink

Keg at 57 Thomas Street, Manchester. A clear golden colour with a thin white head. Aroma of tea, peach, passion fruit, grapefruit, some bergamot and slight biscuit. Taste of peach, orange, grapefruit, biscuit, some bergamot and herbal hops. Medium bodied and moderate carbonation. A bittersweet herbal finish. Quite a sweet IPA with pleasant tropical fruit and tea flavours. Something different and really nice.

From draft at van Moll. Poured a slight cloudy pale light golden colour with a white head. Fruity nose, Peach, spicy yeast notes, apricots, earl grey spiceness, orange, sweet juice notes. Not as herbal as i was expecting. Nice

Delicious, slightly dirty but truly refreshing IPA. Lots of herbs and citrus. Not so sure about the Earl Grey though.

Pint of cask tap east. I can’t quite pick up the tea. More of a gingery, lemony flavour. Pours clear. Little head or lacing. Quite a treat.

great beer. bergamot aroma is balanced and controlled, never getting ’wild’ like some efforts. supple and soft in the mouth this beer delivers as much in the mouth as it does on its seductive nose.
