4.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
This is a far better beer than I expected, best Marble brew so far. Pours a beautiful murky golden haze, the aroma is melon and citrus. Medium oily body with soft carbonation. The taste is dank, catty, citrus bitterness, with a deep sweet melon and peach flavour. The after-taste is long and satisfyingLy complex, with an astringency towards the end, that i’m guessing is down to the tea, that it sits perfectly in this IPA. Will be getting more of this!

3.2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Cask at Alexandra, Derby. 10/09/16. Aroma? Can’t detect one. Not bad, at least. Hazy orange/amber. Not much head though. Goes down well - may be the chill but it’s only the finish that kicks in. Slightly bitter. Guess I get the Earl Gay reference. Not bad.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
On tap at The Hanging Bat. Cloudy orange body, minimal white foam. Faint aroma of oranges and Earl Grey tea, a touch of herbs and caramel. Taste of grapefruit zest, orange candies and Earl Grey tea. It’s a shame it was served too cold and I didn’t had the time to wait.

Bel colore dorato opalescente Con schiuma persistente fine. Aroma piacevole di frutta, lievemente erbaceo e floreale. Si conferma al palato con sentore di tè, bergamotto, fruttato e non così luppolata. Carbonazione media. Buona ed estiva.
