A golden bitter, subtle tartness that gives way to a bitter, dry finish.

Cask conditioned at York Beer Fest ’14. Brown with white head. This was a sweetish, fruity beer with a toffee hint, roasty maltiness, maybe a little light on the palate but reasonable enough.

Aroma: light malts, bread, hints of floral hops. Appearance: light gold, clear with small white head. Taste: light sweet and bitter. Palate: bitters intensifying, getting a bit dry toward the quite long finish. Overall: very nice bitter, lovely taste. Pint at Southampton Arms, Highgate.

Cask at CBC Brixton. Pours an amber colour with a thin white head. Big sweet tangerine aroma, a little toffee too. Light body, slightly thin. Mild carbonation. Nice though. Good balance between a slight caramel sweetness, some white bread, candy, orange, tangerine and lemon. Good bitterness. Nice. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Cask at the Sussex Arms, Twickenham Green - 02/03/13. Lightly hazed golden amber with a bubbly off white head. Nose is hop forward, orange, citrus notes, mandarin, pineapple, touch of sugars, light caramel. Taste largely mimics the nose - good hop presence, orange, light pine, tropical fruit notes. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, bitterness in a dry finish. A decent hopped up bitter - perhaps not one for the purists but this worked for me, one I could enjoy a decent amount of !

Cask in the Euston Tap. Full golden colour with a creamy white head. This is a cracking full flavoured bitter, decent malt backing and strong slightly juicy citrus hop flavours, lots of grapefruit. Long quite bitter finish. An American hop take on a dry Manchester bitter, works well!
