Cask Handpump at the Marble Arch Inn, Manchester 23/12/2004 Golden coloured with a hazy appearance. Some sour fruit flavour. Bitter slightly dry finish.

Cask in Marble, Manchester at the beer’s launch party. Rich, strong hop and bitter aroma and taste with a good balancing maltiness and a very drying finish. Apparently they may tweak the recipe a bit, but it’s OK by me...

According to Camra National Winter Ale Festival programme this is to replace Cloudy Marble and N4. It’s very hoppy. Pleasant initially, but a bit overwhelming in the end. Still it had a slight sweetness. Amazing for a beer at this strength. Maybe served a bit young.
