Tasting @ De Molen Warehouse. Black colored brew. Chocolate in the aroma. Flavor has chocolate and a nice roasted bitterness.

Very dark brown with a small off-white head. Aroma of roast malt and chocolate, with some diacetyl and a hint of fruit. Sweet fruit and chocolate flavour with a touch of diacetyl and a roasted finish

Amazing palate, very smooth. Didn’t smell too good but the taste and evolution made up for it. I think I had this from a bottle at the Borefts Beer Festival 2010

Bottle@TastingSession. Cocao with a hint of fruits in the aroma. Very dark brown, beige head, good lace. Light sweet, malty, bitter, chocolate. Dry mouth feel.

[3410-20101002] 500mL bottle. Mild alcoholic bitter grains aroma. Black brown body with a big long-lasting creamy light mocha head and nice lacing. Alcoholic grainy roasted malt flavour. Full body. Drinkable.

Cask at the Euston Tap. Pours a modestly cloudy brown with a light, tan head. Lovely, roasted malt nose with mocha and coffee beans. Flavor is sweeter than I had expected, which is good. Subtle hints of brown sugar and caramel malts, with plenty of chocolate, along with faint bitterness. Medium in body with average carbonation and a fairly creamy consistency. Great finish with lingering roast and charred cocoa, with light drying. Really superb.

Sample at Borefts Beer Festival 2010. Pours a clear and dark brown beer with a weak head. The aroma is malt and chocolate. The flavor follows the nose closely. The palate is dry with some bitterness. Overall a good beer.

Appearance high viscosity , dark brown ale with large creamy top. Handsome looking ale.
Flavor and Palate : medium bodied. Dry roast was well presented. Roasted barley with light espresso hints. Refreshing dry bitter ale.14+/20
