Bottle 50cl @ Home.
Clear dark brown color with a large, frothy - creamy, good lacing, fully lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate to light heavy malty, roasted, chocolate, grass. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long to average duration, and a dry finsh. Body is medium to light, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. (120708)

Cask at Marble Arch. A brown beer with a red shine under a thin tan head. The aroma has notes of sweet and roasted malt as well as lighter notes of soy sauce and chocolate. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of roasted malt, leading to a dry, bitter, and roasted finish. The body is light.

50 cL bottle, courtesy of Mes. Pours dark brown woth a small tan head. Aroma is roasted malty, chocolate and light hoppy. Bitter, roasted and chocolate malt flavoured. Lingering chocolate and mild bitter flavoured finish.

Bottle 50 cl. Courtesy of fonefan. Pours a dark brown with an orange hue and a rough beige head. Hard roasted malt in the nose with some dried fruit. Medium body, burned malty accents - almost tar-like - with a distinct and almost astringent malt bitterness. 251210

Bottled. Very close to black colour, small off-white head. Aroma is chocolate, coffee, mild toasted and roasted malts. Flavour is roasted malts, chocolate, coffee beans, and some mild bitterness. A bit ashy in the finish.

Bottle at Borefts Bier Festival 2010. Black coloured with a small beige head. Roasted aroma of caramel, chocolate and butter. Roasted flavour of caramel, dark chocolate and butter. Roasted finish.

Bottle. Pours a dark brown color with a small off-whitehead. Has a roasted malty chocolate aroma. Roasted malty chocolate flavor. Has a roasted malty chocolate finish with some bitterness in the aftertaste.

Draught @ Borefts Beer Festival, 2011. Pours black with small bubbles on top. Chocolate, fruit and vague roast. Smooth and dry. Well made and pleasant!

Very dark color, almost black; small head; the pour is thin. Light aroma, some roasted malts and some yeast. Lean and dry mouthfeel; moderate flavor of roasted malts and chocolate, a bit herbal, with traces of yeast. Correct bitterness.
It has some feeling of dirty water, and minor flaws; not exceptional, but not bad.

Cask, 5.5%. Weak coffee aroma. Black colour, almost no head, but frothy. The flavour has some chocolate, mild, not dark or really bitter. Hint of Nesquick or O’boy. Slightly sweet, but with a hint of alcohol in the finish.
