Bottle from Beers Of Europe, King’s Lynn Very dark color, almost black; small head; the pour is thin. Light aroma, some roasted malts and some yeast. Lean and dry mouthfeel; moderate flavor of roasted malts and chocolate, a bit herbal, with traces of yeast. Correct bitterness. It has some feeling of dirty water, and minor flaws; not exceptional, but not bad.

Cask, 5.5%. Weak coffee aroma. Black colour, almost no head, but frothy. The flavour has some chocolate, mild, not dark or really bitter. Hint of Nesquick or O’boy. Slightly sweet, but with a hint of alcohol in the finish.
