Awesome heady RIS - not as smooth as I remember from previous batches but pretty good nonetheless. Needs a bit of age to improve

Bottle shared by CLevar and DalzAle. Pours dark brown black with a thin soapy head that fades to a thin film and collar. Aroma is mellow leather and peat with some chocolate and soy. Taste is all of the above with a little licorice and a bitter finish. Palate is full and chalky with a fizzy dry finish. Really nice!

[Bottle] shared by Greg and Caleb. Thanks! Clear deep brown pour with a large, creamy tan head with some soapy bubbles. Great looking pour. Rich aroma of chocolate milk, alcohol, a little smoky, a little brine, a touch of green pepper, a little licorice. Flavor is quite bitter, chocolate, roast, moderate mouthfeel, creamy.

Bottle pour from SS! Thanks! Pour is black with a very light brown head, fades quickly to OK lacing. Aroma dusted coco powder, vanilla, smoke, and freshly ground coffee. Taste is lots of vanilla, light liccorice, light smoke, and finishes with a bunch of chocolate covered esspresso beans. Creamy mouthfeel, with a slightly bitter roasted malt finish. Really quite nice!

UPDATED: JAN 8, 2012 Bottle thanks to Santa/fonefan! Very dark black pour, lasting 1/4 inch dark carbonation and a little lacing. Aroma is very sweet dark fruit, chocolate. Flavor is more dark bakers chocolate, roasted malt, light vanilla a little liquid smoke and finishes dry. Just outstanding!

Bottle. Near black with a beige head. Aromas are coffee and toffee with earthy, smoky notes. Floral with dark chocolate and soft spices. Marzipan with oily aspects. Flavours are bittersweet roast coffee with dark chocolate and pepper. Gritty dark chocolate with raisins, berries and grapefruit. Bready yeast with vinous notes. Dry and peppery to finish. Tasty, smooth, fruity and roasted. Excellent.

75cl, at 8.7%Vol, as Decadence, exclusive English brew, from De Bierkoning Amsterdam, complex Stout, roasted/sweet and slightly spicy/fruity, not too heavy, balanced, cloudy, small head, very good brew, yet expensive!

Roasted malts and dark chocolate. Thick body and a toasted bread aroma. Tried at the BBF, 2011.
