22 ounce thanks to Justin. Resin and grapefruit. Nice orange pour. Good hop and malt profile Pretty much hits the style right without overdoing malt build.

Pint at Marble tap room in Sante Fe. Their IPA is amazing so my hopes were high for this. It did not disappoint. Super clean resinous hop aroma with inoffensive malts. The palate is perfect for the style. Bitter citrus and pine make up the flavor. It’s very textbook IIPA but delicious and well crafted. I am a fan!

650 ml. bottle. Pours a thick, well retained, off white head, with extensive lacing, over a slightly hazy, gold (SRM 5) body......nose is pine, resin, grapefruit peel, treacle, floral honey tones....taste is heavy resin, pine, pineapple, toffee/caramel, floral honey tones, finishing with a lingering slightly sweet pine bitterness....mouth feel medium to thick, slightly sticky, alcohol adds light warmth, carbonation creates a thick foamy coating. This is a quite typical American style I/DIPA. Hop heavy with all the aroma and flavor nuances of that backbone, with just enough malt to keep the hops under a bit of control. BJCP 8/3/15/4/7

Pours a clear amber with a lacing white head. The aroma is loaded with pine, grapefruit and pepper over a nice amount of bread and a little caramel. The flavor has the sweet base but is mostly bitter hops. Decent.

22 ounce bottle. Pours a hazy orange/gold with a small white head. Aroma of citrus, pine, caramel, grain, and grass. Taste is tropical fruits, pine, grass, and caramel malt. Lots going on. Nice.

Bottle shared by yourefragile. Thanks Michael. The beer is light orange hued and fairly hazy. The white head is about a finger’s width, leaving some random traces of lacing upon the glass. The beer is hop forward, with a touch of alcohol. The beer smells stronger than the Marble IPA, with a bit less tropical fruit and citrus presence. This DIPA has more or a malt and hop balance, as opposed to the single IPA, which is more focused on the hop character. Medium bodied with some lingering bitterness in the finish. Overall, I preferred the Marble IPA to this. That said, this was a decent beer and I would have it again. Serving type: bottle Reviewed on: 11-15-2011

On tap 5 oz sampler at Marble Brewery in Albuquerque, NM. Clear, amber with off-white head and very good lacing. Aroma of citrus, pine, pineapple and malt. Taste of pine, citrus, grapefruit and malt. Medium/full body and high/medium carbonation. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours out a darkish golden, near copper hue with a small rocky head. The aroma can be picked out inches away--candied grapefruit, pine resin, caramel, with a touch of cantaloupe tropicalness. Big full flavor with much hoppy bitterness, pine notes, a little leafy resin, grassy earthiness, with not as much of a tropical sweetness or malty caramel backbone as the aroma would have me believe. Made for pine-hungry hop heads, not for me.

Peanut hulls, unmalted and unhusked barley, and orange peel aroma. Cloudy amber, medium sticky yellow head. Overripe apricot, maraschino cherries, grain, bread crust, crackers. Very busy and certainly not boring. Some DMS. Spellbinding complexities, neat transitions, good balance, one of a kind, but slightly flawed. Entertaining.
