4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20 bhensonb (8994) - Woodland, California, USA - NOV 21, 2010
Bomber from Liz. Pours light amber with a 3 finger foamy off-white head. Aromas of pine and grapefruit rind. Med body; frothy carb. There is so much hop it burns! Full of fresh pine and citrus. A little caramel underneath. Just excellent. Resin all over. Going astringent!
4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 BeerandBlues2 (7418) - Hanover, Maryland, USA - MAY 11, 2012
Bottle. Pours lightly hazy copper with a large, frothy white head, long retention with excellent lacing. Aroma is fragrant and bountiful pine, citrus, floral, and tropical fruit hops with nicely supporting fruity esters. The malt aroma component is hidden behind the hop/ester bouquet, but presents itself as light biscuit and grain malt. Flavor is heavy upfront bitterness with huge hop notes; malt supports with help from some fruity esters. The bitterness lingers and dries out the finish, though the malt sweetness does not fade readily. Moderate to full body with medium-high carbonation.

Composite review of tap and bottle samples. Currently the 22 oz. bottle is in front of me. Pour: clear golden body with large white head. Aroma: orange and grapefruit, caramel. Taste: quite hoppy without being very bitter, full of smooth and resinous hops qualities, plenty of juicy citrus, not many malt characteristics other than white-bread sweetness, alcohol well hidden. Aftertaste: more hops bitterness. Mouthfeel: a bit thin for the style, yet succulent. Overall: a DIPA that provides complex layers of hops characteristics, avoiding explosive bitterness in favor of a more deep and subtle experience. It gets better and better as you drink it.

Pours a bright gold with a foamy white head. Intense hop aroma and flavor. Light bodied and leaves a touch of resin on the palate. I enjoyed this one a lot.
4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20 Damico (1918) - Royersford, Pennsylvania, USA - DEC 31, 2011
Pours golden orange with a decent white head. The aroma is light candy and a bit earthy hop notes. The flavor of a clear, spicy, smooth light bodied IPA goes down cleanly on the palate with no bite at all.

Draft, 1 oz sample at the GABF in Denver. Nice IPA with goldern brown color. Heavy hopped with citrus and piney flavors. Oily palate. Medium body. Malts take a back seat to the hops.

Bomber. Poured cloudy (suprisingly)...cleared some with some time. Good carbonation and a medium head. Pleasant sweet floral and honey nose. Nice medium body and deep gold orange color. Good bitterness upfront-not a hop bomb-and a clean malty backbone with a sweet finish. Great balance. Would definitely get again (next time I’m back in NM...).
