Anyone care for a "glass o hops"? Double mashed with enough malts and hops to make two beers, this hop monster is just in time for the cool fall weather. A full-bodied beer with a big, chewy, resinous hop character to springboard off the big malt backbone. 10.5% ABV

White, foamy, long lasting head atop a light golden, cloudy beer. The aroma is very nice, dominated by citrusy, piney, and light floral hops with a pleasant sweet caramel aroma lingering in the background. The flavor is intense much like the aroma with an added spiciness from the alcohol and hops. This is a thick beer, chewy even, to which the hop bitterness and spiciness are presented. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Draft @ SF taproom. Murky muddled middle of the road brown. Smells like a big barleywine, a big hoppy barleywine with lots of fresh pine needles. Very very very chewy and also very hot. An intensity. But you know, its a good hoppy winter warmer. I actually like sipping this. Nice spicy hops, enhanced by the drying alcohol. So strong, really its too strong and I was hungover the next day. Also, it destroyed my palate, which was rescued by a Witchs Tit, which was thankfully the guest tap that day.

Amber and a little bit of haze. The aroma is big with floral and slightly grapefruity hops. Rich - maybe too much so - with massive bitterness and massive sweetness. Thick, syrupy, minty with rich caramels. Lightly orangey fruitiness. Not as drinkable as their regular DIPA, more like a Hog Heaven-style barley wine instead.
