4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
THE best ginger beer ever in my experience. Most are watery and weak, not reakky sure if they are a pale ale or a ginger beer- this is superb. Huge ginger aroma and taste that leaves tiremarks on your tongue and warms the soul. Firey. Superb. If you donít like ginger, donít rate it. In fact, if you donít like ginger, donít buy it. Rating should be objective - donít give it a bad rating just because you donít like it! That does not make it a bad beer.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Cask at Knott Bar, Manchester. Clear bright amber shade. Thin head coats the glass. Aroma and taste are suffused with ginger, which is rather mild rather than anything approaching throat-burning. Only one real note, but itís clearly very well worked.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
August 19, 2013 - handpull cask at Southampton Arms. Hazy deep gold with a minimal off-white head. Aroma of sweet grain and earthy floral bitterness, some alcohol. Taste follows, with initial very mild ginger but it develops a strong and earthy bitterness pretty much all from the ginger root. Light body, astringent and a bit still, medium dry almost gritty finish. Not bad.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle from Beermoth, Manchester. Expected more spiky ginger in this, but produces a nice smooth, easy-drinking flavour with enough of a spicy tingle to satisfy my ginger urges.
