4.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
Wow. This is a massive massive beer. Rich and complex. Heavy and assertive. I'm hit immediately roasted coffee and dark chocolate...maybe a bit of soy sauce? The taste? Holy hell! Gigantic. Really boozy but balanced well with sharp hops. The mouthfeel is almost syrupy...which I like. And after a good burp, it's all chocolate. I'm impressed.

22oz bottle .. . fantasy, do not attempt .. . deep brown almost black .. . mild head, medium lacing .. . some tar, charcoal, and licorice breath .. . a nice imperial stout, doesn’t feel imperial, but nothing that really stands out either .. . . what did the 5 fingers say to the face?

Tap @ Marble Santa Fe. Pours a black appearance with a small, dark brown head. Big roasty dark chocolate malty, vanilla, cocoa, coffee, delicious aroma. A bit boozy, big chocolate, cocoa, vanilla, rich caramel, toffee, a bit woody flavor. Fuck yeah.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Draft at the Marble Taproom in Santa Fe. Pours a deep, mostly opaque brown with no head and amber highlights at the bottom. Aroma of rich chocolate, nuts, fudge, brown sugar, and earth. Like a big nutty brownie. Flavor of chocolate, nuts, dark fruits, a woody note, and a lot of booze. Medium-bodied with low carbonation and a bitterly boozy mouthfeel. Not bad but could stand more body.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Sampled on DLD eve. Black with a nice tan hed. A light bourbon nose that is also grainy and roasted. This is almost really good. The ABV is noted.
