COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Note: It has been necessary to include "(NM)" in the name to avoid confusion with a beer of the same name from Marble brewery in the UK.

Our favorite aromatic and bittering hops deliver a fragrant citrus aroma and snappy hop character to this eminently quaffable IPA.

Pineapple hop aroma, pours from the bottle with pillowy white head on hazy gold. Sharp on the fore tongue, bitter on the back. Not much sweetness to balance the hoppiness, but decent.

12 oz bottle courtesy of Suttree. 09 07 11 printed on the label, I sure hope that’s bottled on date! Pour is a lightly hazed golden with a one inch off white head. Head breaks up loosely and falls with some nice lacing. Aroma is fresh hop (whew) citrus, mild resins and a firm cracker maltiness. Fresh and vibrant hops, nicely balanced with the malt. Taste is the citrus and resin of the nose, along with the toasted cracker malt. Nice balance. Finish gets bitter with a sharp citrus peel, which detracted some for me. This dries the beer entirely out, and I preceived some alcohol in the aftertaste which surprised me for the abv level. Palate is medium to thin bodied, great unfiltered mouth feel, and the dry bitter finish. Overall, nice IPA - thanks Phil!

UPDATED: JUN 9, 2012 A: Bright orange-golden body. Large off-white frothy head. Moderate retention and spotty lacing. S: Blend of pine, grapefruit, lemon, and soft caramel. T: Nicely balanced IPA with a fair bit of citric hops without too much bitterness. The malts are present and pleasant. Good resinous pine towards the back end. M: Medium bodied. Good carbonation. Light bitter hop bite. Slightly drying. O: A nice IPA. Would love to try this super fresh and/or on tap and see how much more the hops might shine.

A golden IPA wit a thick off white head. In aroma,a musky floral IPA with caramel malt. In mouth, a smooth pinhey hops with light citrus character, biscuitty malt, not bad. On tap at Knoxville Brewer’s Jam, Oct. 22 2011.

Bottled on 9/12/11. Poured a slightly hazy light gold with a rocky 2 finger head. This beer has excellent head retention. There is a nice citrusy hop aroma although I feel it could be a bit more pronounced. The taste is fairly well balanced between hop flavor and bitterness. There is a nice male character as well. I think overall this is a pretty good IPA. It is starting to become my go-to IPA as I think it is the best one that is available to me here in northeast TN.

Bottle. Thanks Gabe. Pours a clear light copper orange color with a slight white head. Danky, citrus rind aroma in the nose, maybe a slight tropical note as well. Medium mouthfeel. Sweet orange flavor with a nice bitter rind kick. Lively carbonation. LIngering bitterness. Some florals as well. Overall, a pretty nice IPA.

UPDATED: DEC 2, 2011 Draft @ brewery tap, Santa Fe. And bottles. Really great looking beer, rich coppery golden color, pours with great head, some irregular lace. Aroma is brightly hopped, and a nice blend of aroma hops too. Juicy, bright green hops. And a bit of booze in the background. Similar hop to the Marble Pale variety, with cannabis and moist earth. But has a more lasting hop juiciness in the body than the MPA: fir and pine, yum. Not a wow beer, but pretty good.

Amber. Bright. Aroma of cannabis, leaves and some grapefruit. Rich bitterness, clean malts. Earthy, weedy, leafy. Good IPA - but I am a sucker for both Columbus and Amarillo.

12 oz bottle. Great citrus nose and nice clear color. Grapefruit predominates. Definitely in the West Coast style and one for the hopheads. Good, will make a lot of people happy. A bit out of balance for me, but I would probably buy again if I was in the mood for something in this style.

Draft. Pours a hazy amber with a small white head. Aroma is lightly floral and straw. Light sticky mouthfeel with a somewhat bitter finish. Moderately bitter flavor. A solid IPA, and a good session beer for me.
