Gold pour with a thin white head. Tropical fruit and hops aroma. Good solid hops bitterness balanced with honey and citrus. Long crisp finish.
Best beer I had in the Southwest.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pour out of 12 oz bottle, clear orange pour with nice fluffy two fingers of white head, aroma brought nice notes of grapefruit, lemon, orange, hints of slight pineapple, nice grassy tones, some caramel peeks in as well, slight spicy notes as well. Taste is not quite as good as aroma, but really nice fruity notes with some grapefruit, orange peel, lemon, tropical pineapple and slight mango, hints of spicy with a touch of grass, hints of caramel and biscuit but fairly restrained, finishing fairly bitter but still flavorful. Itís been a while since I had a good solid IPA that isnít a pain to get, so I appreciate this. As good as it is now, would like to see it when its fresh as well, or with a bottle date on the bottle.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle @ home. Hazy, golden orange appearance with a fluffy, off white head. Fairly rich and fresh resiny, grapefruity hoppy, citrusy aroma. Somewhat bitter yet tasty grapefruit froward hoppy, light sappy, a touch woody flavor with a light burn on the finish. Pretty solid ipa.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
On tap at the brewery in Albuquerque, NM. A really nice IPA. This could be a model for the style. Honey-colored with a pure but mild bitterness.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle. Head is initially average sized, frothy, white, mostly lasting. Body is dark yellow. Aroma is lightly malty (toasted grain), moderately hoppy (resin, grapefruit), lightly to moderately yeasty (dough). Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly to moderately acidic, lightly to moderately bitter. Finish is lightly sweet, lightly to moderately acidic, moderately to heavily bitter. Medium body, velvety texture, lively carbonation. As with the Red Ale, this is pretty well made but I just canít get excited about the generic green/raw resinous hop odor, which is about all this offers in the nose. Fairly good flavor balance (if a bit too citric for my tastes), nice mouthfeel, nice appearance. So, objectively itís pretty solid but subjectively I honestly donít enjoy it.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
12oz bottle. Pours a slightly hazy golden orange with a big fluffy white head that retains well and laces the glass.
The aroma is sweet tropical fruits and bready malts with some resiny hops.
The flavor is bready malts and sweet fruits with a big resiny hop finish with quite a bit of lingering bitterness. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with low carbonation.
Overall, I like this IPA and have liked a lot of Marbleís beers. Itís a good mix of fruits, and resiny bitterness.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Awfully attractive aroma and artfully attired appearance. More floral than citrus. Dry and bitter with a nice sweet malt backbone. Long flinty finish, a little off-putting mineral note. Very tasty, Iíll have another.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
bottle. sparkling gold with a medium-sized bubbled head. typical but well-presented citrus fruit and pine in the nose with lesser touches of spice and fresh-chopped wood (fuckin hell). medium-bodied, chewy and syrupy but thankfully not oversweet (still sweet though). again, the expected lemon, line and citrus acid fruit character with touched of light pine and resin. well-made but I think Iím off of IPAs for a bit as theyíre all too high in alcohol and too sweet / chewy for my tastes.

3.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Picked it up at Trader Joeís in Albuquerque, N.M. Poured from a bottle into a small glass (maybe eight ounces) that I had in the hotel room in Albuquerque, N.M. on April 20. About a finger of head. Color was golden yellow with lots of bubbles coming up from the bottom. Frothy, cloudy white lacing on the top. Healthy amount of sporadic film on the sides.
Smelled of hops right off the get-go, but not overwhelming. Seemed to be grapefruit citrus hops. Decent amount of pine in there. Some sweetness to it too.
Not a bad taste, definitely better than the smell. Got the citrus notes up front (more lemon up front, ending with definite grapefruit). Pretty piny, too. Could definitely taste the alcohol. Not as bitter as I would have though.
Medium-to-light body. Creamy texture. Average carbonation. Long, grapefruit finish.
Pretty happy with this beer. Grapefruit rules the day here.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
On draught at Scalo Il Bar. Pours a dense dark gold. Big hoppy aroma and flavor. Big body, full mouthfeel, moderate carbonation. Hop flavor dominates, little chance to sense maltiness. Hop bitterness well into the finish. Typical over-the-top hopped American IPA, but well done for that purpose.
Earlier Rating: 4/6/2012 Total Score: 3.5
On draught at Scallo il Bar. Pours a dark gold color with thin lasting white and lace. Solid hoppy aroma. Medium body. Nice hoppy flavors top the smooth maltiness. Underlying bitterness from start to finish. Mild citrusy character. Very bold and assertive. Memorable,in a good way.
