More like an APA or a strong golden. Marble are a strange brewery. Good, but lacking personality.

Cask at Arcadia, Leeds. Pours a clerk amber, finger of white creamy head. Ooo er missus. Aroma is caramel, peach, orange, a bit of porridge/oatmeal and a touch of cinnamon. Taste is great - citrus fruits, a peachy note, soft caramel malts. Medium-full bodied, prickle of carbonation. Really refreshing. Very nice. Mmm.
4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20 snzcujo (274) - RUSSIA - OCT 31, 2012
Pours of a beautifull pale yellow colow with an ok head.
Aroma is very refreshing and ipa-ish, lots of citrus fruits and pines, excellent!
Taste has huge amount of pines upfront, then fruits, lots of fruits - mango, citrus, peach and tangerine.
Aftertaste is a heck bitter, longlasting.
Just perfect, refreshing, ideal ipa.

Dark blond. Aroma of fructose and tropical fruit. Flavour is fresh and fruity and has a ’green’ hop finish.

Had on cask. Quite fruity--both in sweetness and in hop bitterness. I do prefer American style IPA’s for their bold hoppiness, but this is quite a fine example of the way an English IPA should be.

After being very ordinary in its inception this beer has undergone several 'trial' versions but have they finally got it correct? Oh yes. This is a perfectly balanced refreshing IPA. Lots of pineapple and grapefruit in both taste and aroma. Enough sweetness to offset the strong hop bitterness. Great beer.
