A classic indian pale ale, immense citrus and floral hop notes balanced against a dry bitter finish.

Half pint at York Tap. Clear, golden, with a nice bubbly head. Bitter, well hopped, with a dry finish. Not entirely sure about it however, but still fairly good. Light IPA hop aroma. Drinkable but a little over-hopped.

Bottle at home. Clear dark yellow amber, thick loose frothy white head with light lacing. Soft earthy fresh cut grass, light pine, some tangerine on the nose. Soft sweet malts, pungent waxy floral stuff going on too with a beautiful squeaky clean juicy grapefruit finish. A lovely hybrid of US and UK styles. Wonderful.

On cask at The Holy Inadequate, Stoke on Trent. Pours amber with frothy head. A very refreshing ale that belies it’s strength. In your face with hops and a good IPA.

Summer 2011, England. Cask. Pours brown with a small head. Aroma grass, floral notes. Light bodied. Some side notes that indicate that this is probably not very fresh.

From a 500ml bottle, light golden hazy brown. A small lacing and a lively carbonation. Some malty sweetness at the start, but all about the hops this one, pithy grapefruit with lemon zest, equally short dry bitter finish. Really nicely done. Crisp and very refreshing.

500ml bottle from Hippo Beers. Hazy amber brown colour, not much head. Resin hop aroma. Biscuit resin & citrus fruit flavour. Bitter aftertaste. A solid British IPA.

danlo (1538) - Darlington, Durham, ENGLAND - APR 5, 2013
500ml bottle from BeerRitz. Pours a clear golden amber colour, frothy white head and aroma of floral citrus hop & candy guava tropical fruit. Taste is caramel with tangy lemon rind & grapefruit citrus and a sharp earthy dry bitterness which lingers through to the finish. Initial soapy mouth feel, light to medium body, high carbonation. Quite drinkable.

Trionfo schiumoso, agrumato fresco sia al naso che in bocca, dissetante e non eccessiva!

Really like this. Opened, poured, felt the hops once more. Roll on pay day. I’m skint already...

Botttle from Bernie’s Off Licence, Shirley, Solihull. Poured a slightly cloudy medium amber, with a thin white frothy head. The aroma is hugely grassy and floral. The flavour is bitter and hoppy with loads of citrus and spice on the palate. This really is a gorgeous and very refreshing beer!
