Cask gravity at Planet Thanet BF 2007. Gold colour with bubbly off white ehad. Odd citrus fruit jumble here. Tangerine and grapefruit. Astringent, almost harsh finish. Floral and flowery and a bit of perfume, but not in a good way. Some toffee malt. Marble normally make very good beers, so was surprised at the low score for this beer, but now I can see why, this just doesn’t quite work

Bottle @ The Crescent, Manchester.
Pours clear, pale golden with a nice, small, creamy, white head. Aroma is fruity, a touch of butter, piney, grapefruity and citric. Soft carbonation, good dry mouthfeel. Flavour has pine, citric bitterness, good fruitiness. No butter follows in the flavour. Super-long, lingering bitterness. Nice.
