(Draught) Delicious hoppy aroma with bags of well-rounded flavour that’s really nicely balanced.
4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20 snzcujo (274) - RUSSIA - OCT 31, 2012
Pours of a beautifull pale yellow colow with an ok head.
Aroma is very refreshing and ipa-ish, lots of citrus fruits and pines, excellent!
Taste has huge amount of pines upfront, then fruits, lots of fruits - mango, citrus, peach and tangerine.
Aftertaste is a heck bitter, longlasting.
Just perfect, refreshing, ideal ipa.

Had on cask. Quite fruity--both in sweetness and in hop bitterness. I do prefer American style IPA’s for their bold hoppiness, but this is quite a fine example of the way an English IPA should be.

From a 500ml bottle, light golden hazy brown. A small lacing and a lively carbonation. Some malty sweetness at the start, but all about the hops this one, pithy grapefruit with lemon zest, equally short dry bitter finish. Really nicely done. Crisp and very refreshing.

Cask at GBBF 2009, 4th August 09. Golden with a bubbly white head. Strong citrus hop aroma. Flavour is just all fresh hops. Light & drinkable without being thin or watery, this is cracking stuff.

[cask at 2009 GBBF, Earl’s Court] Pours a lovely golden colour, extremely clear with a nicely retentive head – just a great-looking pint. As you’d expect with a quadruple hop addition that’s what predominant aromas and flavours are. Weighty citrus aromas, then a dark, strong, almost cheesy hop tang to the taste. Very good indeed [05082009]

Bottle at home. Clear dark yellow amber, thick loose frothy white head with light lacing. Soft earthy fresh cut grass, light pine, some tangerine on the nose. Soft sweet malts, pungent waxy floral stuff going on too with a beautiful squeaky clean juicy grapefruit finish. A lovely hybrid of US and UK styles. Wonderful.

Bottles from Rehills, Newcastle and Chez Vin, Otley. A golden beer with a sharp grapefruit and floral hoppy flavour, a creamy mouthfeel, peppery notes and bitter woody finish.
