Nice full flavour. Doesn’t last. Smells malty but without much aroma. Quite good.

Bottle, The Beer Emporium, Sandbach. Pours a lovely golden colour, nice head that lasted down the glass. Aromas of citrus fruits, flavour of toffee, caramel with a good hoppy bitterness. Really enjoyed this beer and would seek out again.

Beautiful yet subtle pine hop aroma, a little woody. Taste is really well balanced. Soft tropical fruits from the hops and a lovely caramel malt finish. Some biscuit and cereal. Awesome mouthfeel. So drinkable. I’m off behind the bar for another.

Cask in Euston Tap. Colour is very pale amber with white head. Nose is very fragrant citrous and touch of floral and tropical fruit. Getting a lot of pithy citrous juice and peel. Taste is light citrous, lots of husky grain malt, body is a touch watery, but very nice. Creamy head and finish is light citrous bitter.

Bottle. Golden with a white finger of fluff. Light nose of malts and grapefruit. Develops in the mouth and is surprisingly complex. Cereal malts, nuts, citrus, grapefruits and a mild banana. Light bitter finish making this extremely drinkable.

UPDATED: MAR 22, 2012 Cask @ The Marble Arch Inn, Manchester. 071011 Light straw, frothy white head. Aroma of light grassy hops. Taste - light malt, light grass and citrus hops. Palate - very low carb, thin texture, slightly powdery. Finish is very light grassy bitter that dissipates quickly. They were selling a lot of this while I was here (bland beer is more popular I suppose). It’s quite nice, better than average but it’s a bit bland (I did have the Dobber just before!) - not much going on here. Marble do much better beers.
Re-rate: Brandling Arms, South Gosforth - Certainly not bland much more grassy / citrusy hops on this re-try. Still not mad keen on this though but it is pretty good
