Beautiful brew. It takes balls to try and pull off a Belgian style Tripel, but this beer does it with class and precision. The taste is beautiful, long lasting, and worth the price of the beer. Strongly recommend.

This is the kind of thing that anyone who knows me would buy for me. Marble? Tripel? Hell yeah. Clear orange gold with medium off white head. Liking the aroma, fruity, cakey, vanilla, orange. Flavour some yeast, toffee, little bit of sharpness. Really enjoyed this.

750 ml cork and caged bottle from Ales By Mail, served in a tulip glass. Beautiful deep sunrise orange, pretty clear when carefully poured, and a light beige head. Good lacing. Classic tripel smell, earthy and spicy but quite hoppy as well: candied sugar, sweet orange peel, some dark fruits like raisins and plumbs, a bit of alchool. Surprisingly bitter during the first sip, with just a little bit of astringency, but after a bit it gets quite sweet and warming. Yeasty finish with bread crust presence. Nicely balanced and clean taste, definitely Belgian but with a modern twist. For 9% the alchool is well hidden. Spot on carbonation, not too high, medium body and oily texture. I can’t see myself drinking this whole big bottle alone because it become slightly cloying. but it’s a tasty tripel.

Bottle at the Pint Shop, Cambridge on 24 November 2013. Poured a hazy, dark golden colour with a tight white head. Aroma of Belgian yeast, raisins and brown sugar. Heavy, but fine carbonation, full mouth feel. Mango, honey and chewy malt flavours. Finish was grain, citrus, esters, dried fruit and coriander. Complex and very well crafted Tripel style ale.

Slightly hazy coppe body, white head. Aroma has cookie dough, grainy maltiness and huge belgian yeast. Quite high maltiness for a tripel. Nice and different one though.

750 ml bottle. BB 02/15/14. From alesbymail.co.uk.
Slightly cloudy amber colour with a small off-white head. Yeast, fruits, berries and sweetness in the aroma. The flavour is berries, floral hops, quite strong hoppy bitterness, mild yeast and malt. Quite hoppy.

27-AUG-2012, tasting @Papsø. Hazy orange with off-white head. Fruity with orange and peach. Not as yeasty as tripels come. Peppery and a little bitter on the finish. Creamy. Very fine tripel.
