Our favorite aromatic and bittering hops deliver a fragrant citrus aroma and snappy hop character to this eminently quaffable IPA.

Orange/gold pour with creamy white head and lace. Aroma of resin and sweet malt. Bread, sweet malt, and a nice resiny bitter. Medium bodied with good carbonation.

12oz bottle from secret santa 2011. Pours a hazy yellow-orange with a white head. Nose is a light malt presence, with white and red grapefruit, lemon, apricot, and some grass. Flavor is similar and hop-forward with malt and grapefruit all over and lingering grass, lemon, and grapefruit in the finish. A nice IPA overall.

Bottle into a pint glass at Monte Carlo Package Liquors and Steak House in Albuquerque. Followed a wildflower wheat from the same brewery, which was solid but this is a standout. Nice bright color and white foamy head of tiny bubbles that donít deflate. Aroma is light which may be because the head is so thick that the underlying carbonation isnít totally making it out of the head but there is a definite citrus element. Palate is good but i would be ok with more carbonation. Flavor is total west coast IPA- lots of citrus, lots of hops, well-balanced and blended to perfection. I would guess that there is some Simcoe in there, too, but not according to the description. Man, this is a great find. I was a bit disappointed at the selection of the liquor store but who cares because this is great. Finish is hoppy, sweet, and smooth. Great flavor all the way through. The only way i could wish this better would be a hint more carbonation but that might take away from the smoothness. Get some!

An enjoyable IPA. It has a mouthfeel like Calderaís IPA, but more of a bitter end. The beer is a light golden color and slightly hazy. There is a decent head and some nice lacing. The aroma isnít amazing, but it is pretty inviting. If they made a fresh hop version of this beer, i would love to try it. On a side note, in case someone from Marble is reading, the label on this beer is unattractive and the small text is difficult to read because of the poor printing. It doesnít say much about your "attention to detail".

12oz bottle from Phelps. Pours a hazy golden orange with a thin creamy white head that leaves sporadic lacing on the sides. The aroma is all about the juicy citrus hops with pineapples leading the way. Bit of malts in the background but the hops get even stronger as it warms, grapefruit and a bit of candied fruits as well. Taste has a nice pithy bitterness up front with oranges and grapefruit. The backbone is doughy malts is enough to balance things out a bit. The mouthfeel is excellent, sticky with hops and really juicy for a regular IPA. This is one of the better IPAs Iíve had recently. Itís one of the most flavorful standard IPAs I can remember having. Itís got as much complexity as a really solid DIPA. Highly recommended.

Bottle courtesy zdk9. Clear golden color with very little carbonation. Small bubbles. Aroma is sharp hops with some bit earthy notes as well. Tree sap overpowers. Flavor is mainly grain with hops coming in afterwards. Sweetness also comes in.

Bottle. Pours a clear gold with a fizzy but thin head and aromas of soapy hops, a little lemon, papaya (or something tropical) and some honey buns. Flavor is similarly nice, but the soap is a little bit of a detractor for me. Nice tropical and citrus hops with a little resin and a great honey sweetness from the malt. This was a bit of a surprise as I picked it up to fill in the last slot in a four pack holder without thinking too much about it, but it is the best of the evening.
