12oz bottle from daknole - thanks, Dak! Always nice to try a solid local IPA and this is definitely one of íem. Nice lustrous pale orange pour, moderately cloudy but mostly vibrant looking. Inviting frothy head too, and the mouthfeel was silky and creamy as expected. Nose was fairly understated but had character. Quite good mix of flavors, very bitter with hints of citrus. Nice one.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
On tap somewhere in Taos, NM. After spending all day hiking Wheeler Peak I certainly deserved a beer before driving to OK later that night. Pours a nice copper color with white quickly dissapating head. Smells of floral and hops. taste is of citrus, grass, with decent malt backbone. slight soapiness and stickiness with a nice bitter finish.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
(12oz bottle). Pours a hazy golden yellow with white head. Decent lacing shaping up. Some nice grapefruit aromas with a little hop funk, hay also. Taste is semi-sweet and bitter, like citrus pith. Lighter bodied but not thin. Oily texture with lively carbonation. Finish is pleasantly bitter, but somewhat chalky. Overall, this is a nice IPA and quite sessionable. A couple of tweaks and this beer will blow up.

From a 12oz bottle. Pour is a semi hazy yellow orange color with a medium sized white head. Nice hoppy aroma with citrus and pine, with a touch of malt present, too. Flavor is citrus and pine as well, but balanced nicely with a little bit of malt sweetness. Crisp and dry finish. Glad i picked up a six pack of this to sip on while iím in new mexico.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Tasted from bottle. Pours bright orange with a frothy and rocky white head that has serious retention. Nose is primarily resin, citrus, and pine hops, but there is a solid backbone of malt and some mango and guava tropical fruitiness as well. The citrus, pine, and resin all come through very nicely on the palate, but the malt seems to be non-existant until the finish. The tropical fruits including orange come through nicely on the palate as well. The body is light, and the carbonation is very lively with a long bitter hops finish. This really is a very good single IPA.

From a trading box from The Wheelman. Slightly hazy golden pour with a very nice white head and lots of lacing. Nose is of citrus and pine hops. Medium body and smooth and slick mouthfeel. The flavor is full of good bitter hops and malts. Bitter finish. A very well balanced and excellent IPA. Thanks again Wheelman for this winner.

tap numerous times and many bottles-pours bright orange with a nice soapy white head with great lacing. nose is floral, lite pineapple, flowers, tangerine-awesome! flavors exhibit all the hops you can imagine. however, the body seems to be a bit chawky, which hinders the overall enjoyment of this beer. finish is citrus with lingering sticky oily hops. overall, this is a very good ipa and some work with the body (that chauky thing) , this could be world class!

Tap @ Hyatt Regency Downtown ABQ: Clear dark gold with a white head and sticky lacing. It has a citrusy aroma of lemon and grass. Good average hoppy flavor with a little tin, but not too bad. A little soapiness detected in the finish but dissipated quickly leaving a nice, bitter aftertaste. Not bad.
