Growler from the brewery. Pours pitch black with generous beige head. Aroma is roasted coffee and chocolate. Slightly sweet and full espresso flavor with just a touch of chocolate. Creamy mouthfeel and smooth finish. Pretty good.

12oz bottle into a pint glass. Pours pitch black with a half finger dark tan head. Poor head retention but pretty good lacing. Aroma is full of roasted malt along with a touch of coffee and cocoa. The flavor is dominated by roasted malt but there are strong hints of cocoa nibs along with a little bit of coffee. There is a mild underlying sweetness along with a velvety smooth mouthfeel. Light bitterness is present towards the finish. Overall this is a top notch oatmeal stout. Excellent flavor and mouthfeel make this another home run from Marble Brewery.

Pours a very nice cappucino head with nice large bubbles. Aroma is caramel, chocolate, coffee, nuts, and roasty. Taste is very aggressive chocolate and oatmeal malts with a slight bitter at the end, cocoa nubs. Overall a great version of the style, one of my favorite oatmeal stouts.

This one is perty, pitch black with a beige head. The aroma contains some chocolate, oatmeal, and coffee. The flavor is rather sweet with some very rich chocolate and oatmeal showing up. Only a slight bitterness is present in the beer. Very creamy mouthfeel and an excellent beer. Overall calling all stouties try this one!

Ar: Sharp roasted grains, cream-and-coffee Ap: Deep brown, almost pitch black, with a medium mocha head - good retention with a nice coating of lacing. T: Coffee and raisins up front - dark caramel and a touch of molasses - bitterness is medium and firm - long chalky cocoa and ash finish. P: Medium-full body - oily - medium carbonation - finish is medium-dry. O: Substantial and luscious oatmeal stout - assertive roasted and hop flavors lend a nice depth.

Black, with a fluffy brown head. Smells milky, chocolatey, and coffee-ish. Taste is coffee and chocolate, of course, a hint of hickory, and a bit of vanilla. Simple and tasty. Good winter beer.
