22 oz bottle, mfg 12/17/12. Pours dark copper amber with a medium creamy off white head that goes to a thin film and laces the glass.

The aroma is perfumey vanilla , boozy bourbon and a little green apple.

The flavor is sweet chocolate malts with a lot of roast, bourbon with an alcohol bite and a smokey bitter finish that lingers. The mouthfeel is medium to full bodied with smooth carbonation.

Overall, a nice bourbon beer. Still a bit on the sweet and boozy side but had some interesting flavors.

bottle, from Jubilation Wine and Spirits. Good aroma, sweet. Bourbon, vanilla/oak, caramel. Clean Brownihs orange color, good head and lace. Sweet flavor. full body, creamy oily mouthfeel, long sweet finish. Pretty darn nice, Aroma is best part, IMO. sweet bareel goodness. Flavor just slightly less interesting, still good though. Marble is a darn fine brewery...

Red with an off-white head. The aroma has a lot of barrel-aged notes, with some oak, bourbon and roasted malt. The flavor is not as good as the aroma. I get some cherry and molasses notes, as well as some sherry character and some alcohol. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation.

Pours light brown with off white head. Aroma of sweet vanilla and bourbon. Tastes of vanilla followed by a slight bourbon burn. I think this would be a great beer to let sit and revisit.

Thinner, more timid at times. Nice bourbon, oak, vanilla, caramel, basically a ba barleywine.

22 oz bottle. Deep brown with a frothy beige head. Nose is caramel, Southern Comfort, wood, vanilla and dates. Lovely layered sweetness. Medium body with a soft buzz not quite sticky or syrupy. Taste is caramel, bourbon, vanilla, fig and raisin with a touch of butter. A bit like Lees Harvest Ale; right up my alley.

Pours dark brownish read with a ring of white foam. Aroma of brown sugar, molasses, figs, black cherry, and bourbon goodness. Taste is much like a barleywine. Dark fruits, vanilla, molasses, oaky vanilla, and bourbon make up the taste profile. A well done bourbon barrel ale.
