Cask conditioned at The White Swan, Chesterfield, Derby’s. Gold with white head. Crisp, maltiness to the fore, light on the palate with quite a grassy, pine like hop character to follow, tingly on the tongue, good flavour impact whilst keeping the beer easy on the palate. Good stuff.

Small white creamy head. Clear yellow body. Floral grape aroma with fruity notes. Dry-sweet, and somewhat tart, floral resiny taste with earthy mealy notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, soft, flat mouthfeel. Dryish floral resiny aftertaste with grassy mealy notes. Nice, but served lukewarm, which was a bit warm, even for me. (0.284l keg at The Knott Bar, Manchester.)

August 13, 2013 - hand-pull cask at Ol Fountain. Slightly hazy light gold with a solid creamy lasting white head. Light aroma On draught at dry grain and lush lightly catty pungent bitterness and light alcohol. Light body and carbonation, longish pungent alpha-bitter grassy finish. Another damned fine beer.

Had on hand pump. Quite fruity, even for a summer beer--which is by no means bad. Mostly citrus fruits with a strong grapefruit characteristic.

Gravity at Marble’s new place on Thomas Street. Bright gold with a few bubbles on top. Aroma is nicely hoppy. Mouthfeel is quite thin but hops shine through well in the taste, with grapefruit, apple and pear coming to the fore. Quite sticky and resinous too. Refreshing and worthy of its name.
