Sample at Borefts Beer Festival 2011. Pours a hazy and copper beer with a weak offwhite head. The aroma is malt, sweetness and hops with citrus and peach. The flavor follows the nose with additional alcohol. The palate is alcoholwarmth and sweetness with notes of bitterness. Overall a good beer.

Süßer dunkler und hopfiger (zudem sehr süßer) Antrunk, Im weiteren Verlauf ebenfalls zu süß, dezenter aber kratzender Alkohol. Nicht sonderlich. /7/6/7//6

Dark orange amber colour, slight haze, small tan head. Nose of hops, malt, caramel, vanilla, fruity passion fruit, grapefruit, floral tones. Flavour is sweet malts with a hoppy bitterness, fruity hoppy flavours. Bitter finish.
Good hop background to the malts. Balanced. I’m quite fond of this one, would love to see it become more available.

Cask at Borefts 2011. Spicy hop aroma, hint of grass and vegetable. Almost clear dark amber colour. Small stable tan head. The flavour is sweet with the sourness that often comes with cask ales. Slightly refreshing on the sweet background. Does not taste too alcoholic.
