Bottle at Chris O’s pre GBBF shindig. Light amber pour with an off-white head. Crisp citrus nose. Pear and kiwi fruit flavour. Nice.

copper orange pour with big bubbled foam white head.
big aroma of mango, fizzy apple sweets and cirtus peels. strange taste, almost scumpy like with malt and citrus hops. strong bitter finish.
might have to buy another bottle to check again!

Bottle. Golden brown with a large off white foam. Aromas are gooseberry and kiwi with melon and light pear. Caramel and biscuit with floral notes and honey with lemon. Flavours are sweet biscuit and melon with grapefruit and lychee. Caramel with toast and white wine. Spicy in the finish. There aren’t too many things more reliable than a Marble. Good.

In bottle from Nina’s. Pours a light golden colour with a thick white head. Lovely hoppy aroma of pineapple and passion fruit. Similar hop flavours upfront with a caramel malt backbone. Heavy carbonation and a foamy mouth-feel. Lovely and fairly bitter.

Way way better than I remembered - massive hop oils, small malt character but the hops are awesome. Bonkers

Bottle @ chriso. Pours a golden orange color with a small white head. Has a fruity malty hoppy aroma. Fruity malty spicy yeasty hoppy citrus flavor. Has a fruity malty spicy yeasty finish.

30th July 2011>br>ChrisOs ’Donkey Dork Lord’ Pre-GBBF Tasting. Light haze on this gold beer. Little white head. Light dry palate. Nice rich hops, orange and grapefruit marmalade with mild floralness. Finishes soft and semi dry. Mild marmalade bitterness in the aftertaste. Good stuff!

Clear medium yellow colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, fruity, moderate hoppy, citrus, light pine. Flavour is moderate to light heavy sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, peach, apricot. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20110730]

Taster from bottle, courtesy of nate2g, The Kernel Black IPA launch, 9th Jan 2011. Cloudy bright orange, lovely lacy white head. Nose has citrus, blossom, linen - light and airy. Creamy palate with strength and lingering grapefruit bitterness. Everything about it says "light and fluffy" in a good way.

Flavors of apricot, peach, grapefruit, delicious sweet lemon, peppery hops. Great aroma of the above fruits. Very nice IPA.

Bottled@The Chriso Pre-GBBF Shindig 2011 "Donkey Dork Lord Edition". Golden colour, small white head. Aroma is fruity hops and quite pleasantly balanced with some malts and mild honeyish notes. Flavour is very similar, but also showing off the alcohol a bit, which makes it have a slight unpleasant alcoholic sting in it.
