65 cl bottle, Sheffield, UK via the Marble Arch Pub in Manchester, Issie’s 5th birthday. Slightly hazy amber-gold colour (haze perhaps from an overpour of yeast). Thick frothy head. Resiny-spruce aroma, some definite fire back there. Not overly cloying, bright then a long dense pepper infused finish.

(750ml bottle best by 9/2012 thanks to bu11zeye) clear medium yellow, effervescent bubbles and a fine khaki colored head. Nose of delicious fresh spearmint, eucalyptus, light citrus, very unique nose. Taste of oranges, melon, light bitterness and grapefruit. Bitter linger. A very unique and enjoyable IPA.

I think this was the first ’foreign’ Vuur & Vlam I drank. Great idea to see what different brewers do with a recipe. This beer was very bitter, with a long finish. Very nice hoppy grapefruit taste. Very good.

750ml bottle thanks to bu11zeye. Deep golden pour with a soapy white head. Aromas of grass, spice, and orange - taste of citrus and hay with quite a bitter finish.

Koelschtrinker (8461) - Köln (Cologne), GERMANY - MAY 17, 2011
Ausgewogen, süß-hopfig, rund. Störend ist lediglich die Säuerlichkeit. Gut! 6/11/12/11/8/11

Bottle from The Marble Arch, Manchester. Poured pale gold with a bubbly white head. Nice fresh hop aroma. It’s nice enough and I did enjoy it and would drink it again. Compared to some very stiff opposition in it’s class though, doesn’t really hit the high notes. Tasty though.
