From cask. Pours clear and golden yellow with a small white head. Aroma is leathery and citrusy to grapefruity hoppy. Bitter, citrusy and grape wineous. Bitter, dry and hoppy. Light malt base. Bitter and lingering fruity into the far finish.

On cask @ 2nd BBF. The aroma has yeast and citrus. Clear, yellow coloured beer with an off-white, thin lace. The taste is bitter, little sweet, citric. Bit juicy body. Bitter, dry finish.

Cask @ BBF 2010. Blonde. Citric hoparoma. Heavy hopbitter flavor with citric and earthy notes. Dryer as most vuur & vlam versions. Long citric earthy hopbitter finish.

Draft @ BBF. Grassy English hops, some fruity notes. Flavour is a smooth fruity bitterness. Very easy going, very English.

Draught at Borefts Bier Festival 2010. Clear yellow/golden - white head. Bitterness, fruity, medium malty, medium hoppy, caramel notes, toasted, fruity, dryness, honey notes. Nice.

24th September 2010. Borefts Beer Festival.
Slightly hazy lemon gold beer. Suddy white head. Slightly sour nose. Softish palate - low carbonation. Pleasant grapefruit citus hops, not overly bitter. Some tangerine and satsuma flavours (thanks to Harrisoni for digging those out). Finishes dry. Decent IPA but perhaps the most conventional of the Vuur & Vlam family.

Cask @ BBF ’10. Clear golden color, short head. Soft hoppy, bit vegetable hint. Nice bitter taste, bit sharp. Bit more English styled Vuur & Vlam.

Bottle at 2nd BBF @ De Molen. Slightly buttery aroma, loads of hops all over. Nice version and very fresh. Pine and floral hops take the overhand. Little less good looking though.
