Cask gravity, Tamworth 2011, 09/09/11. First impression: sweet and cloying on top of a Magic Rock, with a dominant corn nut-like flavour. Dusted orange gold with a white rim. Discreet aroma with herbal and pine hints like a Greek pils. Some stewed hop, herbal and orange hop on the palate dissipating into soggy biscuit. Back of the tongue bitter finish. Too close to Magnus Magister for comfort; a donkey beater. Not a favourite Marble of mine.
