Golden beer with a characteristically fresh bouquet and sweet after-taste.

330 ml bottle. Deep golden amber colour. Tall off-white head as is typical of the style. Head clings to the glass as it falls down. Crystal clear. Apricoty malty aroma. Quite clean. Some residual sugars and a little caramel. Nice hop bitterness cuts through the malt sweetness and the alcohol. High carbonation level and bitterness leaves a dry sensation on the tongue. Long lasting funky yeast flavours. Nice tripel.

UPDATED: FEB 3, 2008 This beer pours a murky amber color with a thick, creamy head. The head stuck around the whole time I was drinking the beer. The smell was of alcohol, spices and some good old malty sweetness. This is a very smooth beer and went down so easy. I tasted citrus, rasins, malt, alcohol, spices and some sweetness. The mouthfeel is tremendous...really sticks around quite a while. This is quite a Belgian beer. I am a big fan of this style, and it didn’t disappoint. This beer sat around in my basement awhile...I could always find another beer that was higher rated to try in its place. After trying this beer for the first time, I am not only going to store another two or three of these in the basement for a while, I am going to try the eight as well. Solid effort and one of my favorites.

.33cl bottle. Served in a tulip. I’ve been looking forward to tasting this one. Pours golden amber with a big creamy off-white head and lots of lacing. Aroma is musty spice and alcohol. Flavor hits the spot instantly. Smooth semi-sweet triple, spicy, and an excellent alcohol bite well buried in it. Perfect hop bitterness finishes it off. Did I mention I love triples? This one is tasty, well crafted by Moortgat. Almost too easy drinking for a 10% beer. Yum!

Pours a nice amber colour. With a medium white head. Aroma of Cloves, Honey and slight citrus. A sweet malt taste, citrus, and hops. Boozey taste of the 10% is a nice touch.

This is a beautiful coppery brew with a foamy white head that dissipates quickly. The mouthfeel is almost like that of a smooth milk chocolate. I like this beer, and ercommend it to anyone who may be on the fence about trying it.

Pours a rich golden color with a thick foamy white head. Aroma of fruit. Taste has an alcohol presents with a touch of soice and citrus, flavor is a little off.

follow up to the 10. Couldn’t help but feel it was a bit darker Duvel. Still superb, not as brassingly balanced as duvel, and a bit sweeter, but man, it really did hit the spot. Drink a Duvel and that will answer any questions u have.

Poured a nice golden-yellow hue with a pure white head which had great retention/lacing. Aroma was a fruity bouquet of bananas and subtle bubble gum notes. Flavor seemed mild, some fruit notes but not much else. A creamy delicate finish helped this beer a little. Alcohol seemed hidden and spice notes associated with this style were missing. Carbonation was minimal but the beer did have body to it. Overall the beer was good, could have been great with a little more to the flavor.
