dark golden yellow and cloudy body, with a thick creamy white head. the aroma is strong malty sweet, some white candi sugar, yeastiness, spice, dried lemon rind, maybe a little dried pineapple too. flavor is pretty typical tripel, strong malty sweet backbone, a little clean alcohol flavor in the middle like white rum, and some more dried tropical citrus and spices. mild yeast funkiness too.

4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Malt, yeast, and light fruit aromas with a touch of alcohol. This is a great looking beer that would no doubt scare many who didn’t know better due the significant quantify of sediment floating around the glass and sitting on the bottom. The beer is a very light brown/gold color. The head is small but thick and remains on top of the glass. Complex flavor. The fruit is there immediately as well as coriander and flowers. The alcohol is noticeable in the taste but not unpleasant or overpowering. Chalky finish.

3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
11.2 oz bottle: Thick yet soft pillow of head across a sparkling bronze copper beer. Aroma is of a normal strength and keeps a sweet vanilla, bubblegum, and sift presence of yeast. In the flavor i found an over bearing taste of soap which was a big turn off but a little vanilla, yeast, banana, and pepper allowed me to continue the drink. A notice of warm alcohol was felt both in the mouth and throat of course because of the high percent content. Not as good as i could have wished. Best before June 2007 stamped on label.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
From the 750ml bottle. Pours a clear gold with a slight orange hue and a tall long lasting white head. Fruity citrus candy sweetness up front followed by a train of belgian yeast esters. A very healthy carbonation really made the spices shine up front and dried out the finish very well and kept the body from being too syrupy.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
From a 330 ml bottle. Dark gold color with a large, slightly off white head. The aroma is ripe apples with a hint of horseblanket and hay. A little bit of pineapples and cinnamon finish the nice smells. The taste has some rich apples and cinnamon. There is also some bread and dry figs. Finishes with a little cardboard. Overall, still a nice brew.

Slightly hazy, light amber colour with a 1cm white head. Barnyardy, fruity and caramel aroma. Taste is sweet and sugary, with some pepper and hop bitterness later on. Alcohol is detectable in the warming finish. Medium bodied, quite highly carbonated. Good tripel.

Very easy drinking for me, didn’t even notice the alcohol. poured a bronze color with little head, I think ,knowing where I bought it, this is an older bottle. I really enjoyed this one.
