Dark orange body with a large head. Aroma was very fruity... almost anything you could think of. Also had some sugar and very light pepper. Sticky sweet finish, tasty... good stuff.

leaves very pleasant taste in the mouth. Strong and sweet malty, alcohol linger fruit. Big Head. Pale. Big little love. I’m in a dark bar. I’m liking it.

Bottle at Bishops Arms Linköping, Sweden. November, 2005.
Dark color. Pretty low scent and taste, much less than expected. No hint of the high alcohol. Pretty boring actually.

Second rating March 17, 2007.
(33 cl bottle at The Rover, Göteborg)
Shady orange color, fluffy white head. Sweet apricot and marzipan scent. Spicy yeast and bitter taste, sweet yogurt aftertaste. Smooth mouthfeel, low bitterness.

330ml bottle (bb.Oct.08). Deep golden colour. Large rocky head and long lived foam. Aromatic hops and ripe fruit character. Spicy flavour with hints of orange and yeasty undertones. A robust ale with a long warming finish.

from the bottle best by 03/07. poured dark honey with a off white head that left some good lacing. aroma, honey pokes its head out first, than some sweet fruits, alcohol, a hint of yeast. flavor the alcohol comes out really nice than brown sugar and some sourness as it warms fruits. good beer

750ml bottle. Pours a fairly dark reddish orange color. Moderate foam that does not go away. Slightly sweet, yeasty aroma. Syrupy fruit notes. Flavor is yeasty right up front along with some spiciness. Light graininess with only a trace of alcohol. A little creamy. WEll hidden alcohol. Not really too exciting.

750 ml- This is the second time I had this beer, and it was definately much better this time. The first was in a small bottle. Light orange in color with a good soapy head. Hints of bananas and spices are present with each sip with a touch of hoppiness. Pleasantly surprised.

beerbuzzmontreal (3488) - Montreal, Quebec, CANADA - MAR 30, 2006
UPDATED: OCT 9, 2009 Pours a clear dark gold color with a thick white head. Pleasant aroma of fruits, spices and bready yeast. The flavor also has a bread feeling with some fruits and spices, but feels blander than the aroma, bordering on boring. The body is light to medium with an oily texture and moderate carbonation. Not bad, but not great either.
