Bottle at Chaucer’s, in London, Ont-Hazy deep orange with a thick froth of beige head, and tight lace. Fresh peaches, yeast, bread crust, and hops with flowers in the nose. Semi sweet dried peach flavour upfront, with spicy bread, yeasty funk, and a nice bite. Creamy smooth with astringentcy in the finish. Very warming. Good.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Sweet and alcohol aroma. Certainly a very strong beer with definite alcohol flavors. The finish is very dry with some bitterness. I’m not crazy about the beer but it ain’t bad.

Had this beer on draft. It was very thick, & I don’t think I could call it a white ale or a brown ale, it was somewhere in between.
It smelled sweet, & of coconut. It poured golden in color & was cloudy. Very good flavor.

bottled. Thick, yet average head. Nose of alcohol, sweet spices, and yeast. Golden & clear. Taste is sweet with very mild alcohol bite, spices are mild too. Easy. Finishes a bit stronger, but never harsh.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
750 mL bottle. Pours golden with fizzy white head. The aroma is banana, yeast, corriander, zest, and just a touch of alcohol burn. The flavor is the standard tripel: banana, a hint of zest, a touch of hops (hallertau?), and a sweet, fruity finish. Some spices come out in the aftertaste. Not superior, but pretty good.
