(bottle - corked & caged 750 ml) Dark amber color with a puffy white head. Aroma is lots of dark fruits, yeast, spices, cloves, and alcohol. Flavor is very rich and sweet with a nice yeasty and spice middle and a very sweet and slightly tangy finish. Chewy with a nice alcohol kick.

Bottle from Bev Mo in La Mesa. Not overly impressed with this triple. Pours a medium copper color. Head was off white and dissipated quikly. Nose of different citrus fruits. The same of its taste.

Bottle: Deep orangey coloured, firm, small creamy head; fruity (oranges, orange peel) citrousy, a bit caramelly nose; sweet (fruity) and faint bitter flavour, creamy mouthfeel, quite full bodied; impressive fruity, a bit tart and bitter-sweet finish. A very pleasant night-cap !

Well, its a style I really enjoy and this was one that was somewhat "hyped." But, I was kinda let down by Maredsous 10 and feel guilty for not liking it as much as others. But, the pour was boring (for the style), orange-yellow color with a thin white head that sustained itself well and provided decent lacing... but nothing overly impressive. The aroma was sweet and malty, of definite apples and bananas. Flavor was bananas, cloves, and even some candi-sugar. The finish had a nice hop touch to it along with a dryness. Mouthfeel was typical, of course also carbonated. A nice beer, but not in the same category as Chimay White or Karmeliet.

Bottle. Clear, sparkling golden color; big white head with ample lacing. Slightly sour, honey aroma, yeast and strong distinctive Belgian smell. Strong and sweet malt profile, alcohol warming, spiced bitterness. Somewhat dry finish. Went well with vegetarian reuben sandwich with grilled apples.

Aroma of sweet malt with light spice. Sweet piced malt flavor with some apparent alcohol. 7/3/7/3/13 - 3.3

It has a cloudy dark-golden color with a white, foamy head. An aroma of honey wafts from the glass. This is a smooth beer, though the alcohol is evident. It has a slight nutty aftertaste.
