Bottle. Clear orange colour with a white head that dissipates quite quickly. Aroma of dried fruits, bread and alcohol. Flavour is heavy alcoholic with a carbonated mouthfeel. Letting it warm up gives more fruity flavours of blackberries, apricot and such. Really big alcoholic beer in my opinion, bit out of balance, but still quite good.

Bottle into signature glass. Presents deep amber with a finely bubbled just off white head that laces nicely. Aroma is yeasty (earthy, leafy) and malty (toasty subdued honey) with fruity hops (oranges mainly), Belgian candy sugar and alcohol. The palate is smooth and creamy with a fullish body and a perfect balance of bittersweet malt and fruit. Finishes long and dry with an alcoholic warmth. Delicious mouthfeel. One of the best Belgian Abbey Tripels.

Darker gold yellow color, amber even. Good foan head alsoe slightly colored, Sweet malt aroma, but later on nice bitter hop taste. Dry in the mouth and long lasting after taste, bitter. Good

Tap @ Berthom. Pours beautiful clear golden copper amber with a bubbly beige head leaving lace over the whole chalise. Aroma is very nice; malty sweet, fruity, spicy and a bit yeasty. Flavor is malty sweet and slightly acidy in front, fruity spicyness builds up in the middle finishing with a dryish longlived bitterness with still plenty of fruits.

On tap at the Trappe door, poured a dark amber, overall a nice beer that was on tap, had some spiciness to it, some herbs and flowers in the flavor, honey finish.

Slightly orange, medium white head that is quite thick. Sweet malt with loads of spice (anise, coriander, red licorice?). Very balanced for the strength, but assertive finish.

Draught in Jaffa. Pours clear dark amber with a steady white head. Smells thick, grainy and sweet, tastes sweet and alcoholic. It’s fizzy with a long finish and a surprisingly light body.

33cl bottle. Color is dark orange with white head. Aroma is sweet, fruity. Taste has fruits, sugar, yeast and spices in it. Pretty complex beer, that has this warm feel in the end, but alcohol is well hidden in the taste. Medium carbonation. Really nice tripel.

Cerveza de Abadía, realizada por la misma cerveceria que elabora la famosa "Duvel". Carente de un aroma que refleje lo que ésta cerveza contiene en cuanto a calidad y grado alcohólico. Aromas ligeros a cereales. Apariencia color dorado, rubi, con espuma blanca brillosa, aun que se diluye rápidamente. Al primer sorbo es fresca y afrutada, sin embargo al resbalar el liquido por la garganta, se siente el alcohól (10 grados) el cual lentamente calienta la garganta, dejando un delicioso sabor. Sin embargo el sabor no es desagradable, dejando un muy buen sabor de boca.

pours a clear light orange brew with a two finger white head with regular retention, aroma is spicy and citrusy, also some candy sugar, medium to robust body; the flavor has notes of clove, alcohol, sugar and citrus fruit, good balance, bitersweet long finish.
