Magnum aged for a year, pours gold with small white head. Nose of crackers, grass, and pears. The pears transfer to the mouth, body is strong but less burly than a few. Booze is perfect while multi-tasking rocking a baby and sitting fireside.

330 mL bottle from Total Wine, Chesapeake, VA. Dark orange pour with a frothy off-white head. Aroma of citrus peel and Belgian yeast. Taste is mildly bitter but certainly not unpleasant. Lightly sweet and finishes with orange and lemon zest. An excellent tripel.

APPEARANCE - Clear orange with a 2-finger, uneven, malty head, that dissipates slowly. Lacing is foamy AROMA/SCENT - Sweet, mild, slightly herbaceous. TASTE - Well balanced between a sweet Belgian and a bitter Pale Ale. Not cloying liks some sweeter Belgians. ABV well-hidden. MOUTHFEEL/PALATE/TEXTURE - Soft, not gooey. Surprisingly decent carbonation. VALUE - $12 for a bottle -- on the high end. OVERALL/DRINKABILITY - Very smooth drink. Chuggable.

Coloração âmbar. Creme bege, fino e duradouro.

Moebbels (346) - FINLAND - NOV 8, 2014
A very mildly hazy orange body with a white head that settles down to a thin, uneven layer. Nose has aromas of yeast, spices and caramel. Taste is quite sweet with a long, fairly strong bitter finish. Carbonation feels smooth and the mouthfeel is quite rich. Nice beer with very pleasant, although mild aroma and well hidden alcohol. The harshness in the taste is a little annoying.

750ml bottle poured in a Leffe chalice. A: Pours a dark orange almost Amber colour with a big white and foamy head. Good retention and many lacings left S: Sweet, fruity and spice. Honey, caramel malts and belgian yeasts. Quite strong on alcohol in the end T: Caramel malts and Belgian yeasts are a must. Quite fruity too. Some honey. Balanced sweet-bitterness. Remarkable on personality. Once again, quite liquorous end M: Heavy, creamy and a bit molasses body.
