Enjoying a bottle of this as a stand alone dessert beer, this lighter blondish tripel is quite a delectable authentic abbey ale! Pours a slightly hazy burnished golden color with lots of lacing and a long lasting creamy head, very appetizing. Notes of candied apple and fruity yeast on the nose, aroma is on the lighter side. Taste is very sweet, fig and/or apricot accents, some sugary caramel malty base, very fresh. Sour yeast and some boozy tartness in the finish, puts a damper on the sweetness, but is to be expected for the style. Almost reminiscent of a light sweet porto wine. Those Benedictines give the Trappists a worthy brewing challenge, recommended!

Bottle. Hazy amber pour with small frothy offwhite head. Aroma is kinda sweet with some orange peel and apricot. Taste is fresh and well balanced. Nice bitterness and not too sweet. Ends with a bit of sour notes

330ml bottle from BePLUS, Xiamen. Pours hazy amber with a dissipating white head. Aroma of bread, spice, malt and Belgian yeast. Sweet finish with a hint of bitterness. Dangerously drinkable.

330cc bottle. Pours amber with soapy head. Nice dry and spicy. Also citric and hoppy. One of those I always have at home. Very nice abdij beer overall.

It poured an amber color with a white head. The aroma was fruity with pear, citrus and some bubblegum. The taste was of orange zest, pear, bubblegum, grass and several spices. Nice.

Abbey beer with a sweet honey taste initially with a slightly bitter after taste. A good frothy head. A great tasting beer but due to being 10% ABV not one you can drink too much of.
