Nice abbey tripel drank at the buitenlust, Oirschot. Taste some spices, malts, lightly yeast, lightly sweetish. Nice body

330ml brown bottle poured into a Tulip glass. Appearance is clear amber with a medium sized frothy beige head, that when reduced left some lacing. Aroma is faint of apples, pears and herbs. Flavours of caramel, spices, pears, honey and some alcohol, the typical Belgian yeast flavours are surprisingly subdued. Taste is light-medium sweet and medium bitter. Palate is medium bodied, smooth texture and average carbonation. Overall a good Abbey Tripel, but a little too sweet and the aroma is faint, also alcohol is sligtly detectable in the flavour.

Suverene saker.

Incredible beer. This is in my opinion the best of the trappist beers out there. It is bready and citrusy and just perfect. This is not for the average miller light drinker. This folks is a beast of a beer. Ready to punch you in face with so much complexity you weren’t even ready for. the taste is smoky and sweet and just amazing. Meredsous is it. Try their Brune too you won’t go wrong.

Bottle, amber pour with a off white head, taste starts sweet and then slightly bitter, with a hint of alcohol but is very smooth. Delicious beer.

On tap at Martin’s West in Redwood City, CA. A musty piece of spiced bubblegum unearthed from an ancient Topps wax pack. In my book that equates to: Very Drinkable.

Lys gul, medium skum. Aroma av belgisk gjær og gress. Smaken er gjær, gress og alkohol. Frisk. Tørr på tunga. Mild bitterhet i ettersmaken.
