Die van arjans Sint. Ruikt lekker. Minder schuim en frisser dan die andere trippel. Die andere was zoeter en iets lekkerder.

Amber colour, two fingers head that vanishes soon, leaving ring and lace. Aroma of fruits, banana and some citrus, nuts (almonds, I think), spices and chocolate. Medium to full body, good carbonation. Taste of spices, chocolate, fruits and nuts. Good one.

Can’t see it because it’s in a ceramic chalice! lacy head. Nice sweet malty. Taste is actually pretty bitter. Has a citrusy flavor. It’s a little rough. Complex flavors. The bitterness at the end is different than the one at the beginning. Slightly thick body.

Robe ambrée et opaque. Peu de mousse. Saveurs de levures dominantes. Notes de fruits jaunes, pain d’épices. Arrière goût très fruité. Carbonatation fine. Longue en bouche. Une bonne bière.

Hazy, pale orange with thin firm white head. Fruity, syrup, alcohol, honey, wet fabric, rocks, almonds, rubber, brown sugar and spices in the nose. Almonds, alcohol, fruits and spices in the mouth. Dry finish.

Bottle from New Albany beer store. Nose is malty and thick. Not amazing and id go elsewhere. A bit of cherry hint there.

Bottle at home. Yeasty and malty. Strong. Perfect beer for my imaginary Glasto tent party :D

0,33 l bottle from drankgigant.nl, best before 10/2016. Clear, golden amber with a medium large, foamy, almost stable, tan to white head. Sweetish, fruity-spicy aroma of citrus, banana, honey, vanilla, toffee and nuts. Sweetish, fruity-spicy taste of banana, cane sugar, toffee, nuts and vanilla. Medium long, slightly bitter and gently alcoholic finish. Medium body, slightly creamy mouthfeel, average carbonation. Quite reserved concerning aroma and taste but nevertheless tasty. Not the best out there, though. Expected way more.

Another retro brew I have not had in many years... Big cotton candy, toffee, and boozy notes along with pear and crabapple. There is a faint almost peaty iodine earthiness I frankly don’t remember before. Sharp and biting with a somewhat dryer finish. This could stand a year or more of aging but alas I will not be the one. It is no Tripel Karmeliet nor Allagash but not much is.
