| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Sep 12, 2007 Dark orange, unclear with a marvolous rocky head. Sweet malty yeasty aroma, I think I detect the slightest hint of mollases. Full bodied. Very soft and refined fllavours, leaning towards sweet and fruity, pepper, orange and toffee are evident. The finish is of restrained hop dryness and warming alcohol. Goodgrief (1161), Middletown, Delaware, USA

The aroma jumped from the glass. The taste was very rich and complex without being overdone...with even a little hop bitterness to finish. Mouthfeel may have been just a TOUCH too carbonated, but I can’t really complain about anything in this beer. Very nice. This definitely belongs in any "trippel tasteoff". lovemyipas (420), sw burbs, Illinois, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Sep 11, 2007 pours a clear dark honey orange color with a nice two finger fluffy off white head. aroma is hops, yeast, and citrus fruit. has a medium body with good lacing and great carbonation. flavor is the same as aroma but just a bit stronger. has a little bite from the hops and carbonation and is a touch spicy. pretty good a very solid stepping stone for people who want to try triples. the 10% abv is very well hidden and the aroma is a little stronger as it warms. murky dark golden beer with a nice sized, tight bubbly white head.
Sweet apples and pears aroma, touch of alcohol burn, brown demerara sugar.
Falvour, more of the apples and pears, and add some black plums, sweet, touch of malt, soft carbonation.
Very nice mouthfeel with the refermentation in the bottle. Soft, silky.
Overall nice beer, enjoyable and at a good price ($5.99).

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Sep 11, 2007 Pours close to clear with a gold color that has an amber touch. Nose is like apple with alcohol. Flavor is not very pronounced I think. Slight malty presence with a minor bitter edge. I feel it lacks anything interesting or unique that makes it shine. Feel is standard for the course, though it is good....not knocking it there. But why would I want to drink a lot of these when there are other brews out there which are much more interesting for my tongue? joverton85 (80), Burnsville, Minnesota, USA

| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 5/5 | 17/20 | Sep 4, 2007 Big frothy head on top of a golden yellow pour. Full malty body taste. The great spice flavor is what sets this beer apart. Hard to pick out the mixture but it hides the alcohol completely.
