3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle. Typical Belgian blonde in every sense. Bitter-sweet, the sweet elements prevail. Good standard for its class, not really my cup of tea.

3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
750ml bottle served in a Leffe chalice.
A: Pours a yellow to orange clear golden color forming a medium bubbled and bit creamy white off head. Good retention and some few lacings left
S: The best part. Very "Belgian", of course. Sweet grains, strong on honey, bready and earthy yeast. Fruity, peaches mainly. Light flowery hops and alcohol in the end
T: Follows the nose: Slightly sweet malts upfront. Honey, earthy and bready Belgian-like yeasts. Peaches. Dry taste, in overall, with a light bitter end
M: Mediun body and medium to high carbonation. Bready and light bitter and light sour aftertaste
O: Good drinkability. Actuallly, a bit disappointing taste which is too watery and tasteless to the stye

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Vinous, alcohol-intensive and fruity aroma which gets followed up by the taste. Notes of peach, rock candy, alcohol and grapes. Complex, maybe a bit too powerful.

3.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
I really enjoy the light but still pronounced mouthfeel. The taste is balanced between bitter and sweet, with the bitterness being more pronounced in the end and in the aftertaste. Citric and crispy in the end. Really good beer. I would rather it had a bit less sugar in it though.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Blond abbey beer with thick, cream white, dense, moussy, sticky head and pure golden blond colour with somewhat greenish hue, almost clear but cloudy and a darker peach blond after adding deposit. Despite the bottle being brown, the aroma is still dominated by a lightstruck effect (wet dog or cat pee, you know the odour I’m talking aboutà; otherwise rather weak, revealing impressions of orange peel, peach, grass, crabapple, wet hay, some pale malts and some white candi sugar. Taste rather neutral at first, minerals, sharpish carbo, dried apricot and green apple, vague metallic taste, light sweetish pale maltiness, mellow and more malt sweet in the end supported by some grassy hop bitterishness. For a blond abbey beer - a style often interpreted as "top fermented pale lager" by too many brewers, this is not that bad, at least not as soulless and chemical as its Leffe or Grimbergen counterparts, but it remains uninteresting and I hate lightstruck beer aromas with a passion. Before it was restyled, it was a bit heavier (6.8% ABV), a bit darker and a bit sweeter - and perhaps a bit better.
