Bright orange, hazy with a small to medium head. The aroma is too subdued, Bitter, some balancing caramel sweetness. Soft flavour, gentle malt, floral and a lot duller than I expected. Medium body. I’m quite disappointed overall.

Whole Foods Market, DC 4-pack ($12): Pours an orange color with a long-lasting white head. Fruity aroma with definite yeast notes. Taste is slightly sweet with some dryness happening around the finish. Slightly bitter, but the hops are obviously kept to a minimum. Not really that light bodied. Pleasant mouth feel and a good amount of carbonation. Again, nothing special, but I wouldn’t mind having a few of these either on a beach or in the middle of winter.

Poured a slightly hazy yellow-gold color with a bubbly white head. Aroma has lots of yeast and banana notes like a hefeweizen. Also fruit and citrus. Taste is very crisp and malty with spices. A tad bit too carbonated. Finish is a bit dry with green grapes. Slightly doughy and tart. Pretty flavorful overall. Good.

Pours slightly hazy golden with a high head. Aroma is malts and yeast. Flavor is lots of yeast with some malts. A bit too much yeast but otherwise fine.

Dark golden color with thin head. Herbal aroma and very refreshing yet quite bitter.

It pours a medium dark gold with a ginfe white head and very good lacing. Color is much darker than the normal blonde.
The smell is funky, notes of hops but a very bitter tinge.
The tatse is a little complex with sweet start and bitter finish, not really what I was expecing. Nothing special that I’d get again

20.03.2011. 0,33l Bottle. Systembolaget Strömstad. Pale yellow colur with thick white head. Unclear. Aroma is kind of wheaty with a little sour mouthfeel. Very refreshing. Nice balanced bitterness with good aromatic hoppy flavours. This is a very goodBelgian Ale.

Tap at Eureka Burger. Rating #460. Clear light gold pour with a nice white head. Clean crisp aroma, sweet with that characteristic belgian yeast smell, but a little toned down. Light sweetness on the tongue and very drinkable, real nice stuff. (1506)
