From backlog

Head: white, small, foamy
Colour: light amberish
Smell: fruity , malts, bit citric , some malts, mostly yeast for the bitterness
Taste: start is malts, a bit sweet , then comes a bit of yeast and ends with a fruity bitterness , not special but just normal everyday drinking beer ...

Pours a cloudy orange, sparse white head, huge carbonation bubbles. Aroma: dough, hay, grass, banana. Palate: Medium bodied, smooth, leaves a bit in the mouth, slightly dry finish. Taste: very sweet. Nice flavour of citrus and spice. One of the better belgian blondes i’ve had.

On tap at The gingerman Plano. Pours a deep rich blonde/amber with a medium white head. The aromas are lemon, bread, old closet. The mouthfeel is sweet and slightly dry with a medium body. Cheers!

Light aroma and pretty nice golden color but taste is a bit cidery and one sided. Carbonation or bite at end of sip makes me think of cheap domestic swill. I expected much more.

Gyllengul med stabilt vitt skum. Doft av jäst och citrus, lätt kryddighet. Samma saker går igen i smaken.

23/12/2011 75cl bottle @ home - BB: 8/7/14 (2011-726) Thanks to Abeel for sharing the bottle!

Clear blond to golden beer, very creamy off-white head, stable, adhesive. Aroma: very malty, bit sweet, sugaryt, some honey, hops, citrus and spices. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: citrus, bit malty, bitter hops, not very complex. Aftertaste: little bitter, bit of honey.

Yellowish body, white head. Aroma of perfume, yeast, noble hops..Not so good blond. Watery and really dull.

cloudy dirty golden with a 1/2" persistent head and good lacing. A little understated for a Belgian Ale, but very well done. This is another of those Abbey Ales that may not overpower, but that is lacking nothing. The sweet roasted caramel malt, the light bittering, the emerging full body malt at the finish...all there, and well done.
