More amber-orange as blond. Very abundant white to cream-coloured head, going down lacey. Nose of candi sugar, caramel, herbal. Light bitterish taste, and very grainy character at the same time. A bit tart - not hoppy. Whiff of mushroom/fungae. Light, but not watery mouthfeel. No stickyness or alcohol. Little aftertaste. This is a very delicate flavourprofile. My objection is that it misses hops. Give it a hopkick and you'll end with a Belgian equivalent of a nice bottle-conditioned best bitter.

Very yeasty in the nose, carries through the whole beer. Sour, yet not bitter. Not to my liking.

UPDATED: FEB 8, 2004 Bottled.A bit cloudy and a distinct yeasty aroma. Yeast in the flavour too. Some sweetness.

Yellow body. Dominating yeast in the aroma. Oily palate feel. Too sweet in the taste.

UPDATED: FEB 9, 2004 Draught. Golden colour. This is very sour beer. Short sharp sour taste that just peters out in your mouth. Not my style, but I wouldn't discourage others from trying it.

Clear golden body with small off-white head. Aroma is apple and slightly acidic. Taste is Belgian yeast, apple, and definite alcohol. Finish is astringent, detracting from the flavor. Fairly carbonated, a bit too much for my liking.

(Bottle) Amber-orange body with a thin, head. Lively carbonation. Citrus nose. Flavours of sour dough and hops. Finishes spiced and dry.

This beer has a yellow body - hue with a bitter initial flavor and a light body.

Sour, apricot and soap nose. Orange color but light, fizzy head. Liveley carbonation. Grape taste, but also light, flat. It leaves you behind with an unsatisfyed feeling.
