Bottles in São Paulo and in Brussels - A good beer, golden appearance with a great and foamy head. Light malt aroma and a bit sweet taste. Very slight hops but heavy on yeast perspective. Not brilliant.

Draught at Konishi in Itami. Nice orange-golden color with a great, high head. Light malt aroma, with fruit, caramel, yeast, and a bit of alcohol. Light caramel in the mouth, with a bit of cardboard. Slightly fruity, with cherries. Decent but not special.

Tap at Det bette Ølhus, Aalbæk. Clear golden body. Huge white lasting head and good lacing. Fruity aroma, malt and coriander. Oily texture, medium carbonation, light and watery. Medium sweet and light/medium bitter.

(bottle) yellow colour; white head; light aroma of mostly yeast, weak and dull flavour; as much as I like Belgians this is one of the worst I had

Paper-wrapped bottle. Pours hazy orange with a huge, frothy, off-white head, mostly lasting with excellent lacing. Aroma is heavy malt (bread, hay, straw, biscuit), light hop (flowers), heavy yeast (barnyard, horse blanket) with notes of pepper, pear, and dusty wood. Medium bodied, sticky texture, lively carbonation, and an astringent finish. Average duration, moderate sweetness, light acidity and bitterness.

Thanks Faron! Nice pour. Ample amounts of off white thick, fluffy head, good messy lacing and a very nice pumpkiny orange brew that is nice and clear prior to the sediment dump. Nice simple aroma of mild yeast, honey, nutmeg, a pungent apricot and obviously floral on deep sniffs. The taste is not bad and pretty much as unexciting as I assumed it would be. Fruity right off the starting line but it’s hard to tell what it is since the weak but prevailing licorice fades in and messes the fruit up, dusty mainly due to the blend of spices (faint pepper, licorice, something else), mild yeasts, honey, cardboard, repeated reminders of a German hefeweizen (that dull banana / cardboardy weak chocolate flavour) for some reason, back end misc. citrus and well placed, almost surprising hops (I really didn’t pick up on them until the bottom of my glass). The mouth feel is ok with light carbonation, lots of dryness, tangy after taste that borders on sour but is not quite there, stark bitterness. Lingering subtle spice. I’m still not a fan of this style but I’m starting to see the light.

Draught. Golden with a medium white head. Aroma is sweet malt, fruit and spicy notes. The flavour is sweet malt, fruit and spice, but somewhat restrained. Medium bodied and soft carbonation. Malt and peppery finish.

golden with a big bubbled hvite head. aromas of spices and apple juice, kinda saisaon-ish. not much going on in the flavor department, smooth and dry.
