Solid sheet of lacing along the glass. Very nice floral bouquet with a good amount of yeast and spices. Light but flavorful with a dry hoppy finish. Lively carbonation in the mouthfeel.
3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 patricks110 (815) - Alberta, CANADA - JUL 16, 2011
Rating from April 2011. The pour is a bright yellowish gold with a thick two finger cap of offwhite head. The aroma is bright and floral with a large citrus and yeast nose. In the middle, a sweet light bready malt and citrus fruits with light estery yeast. The finish is mild with a moderate yeast and slight alcohol. Overall, quite good, just unmemorable.
3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20 ChainGangGuy (3684) - Canton, Georgia, USA - JUL 11, 2011
11.2 ounce bottle - Olde Crabapple Bottle Shoppe in Alpharetta, Georgia.
Best Before: 12/2012.
Appearance: Pours a golden-hued body with an initially tall, white head. Thin smears of lacing on the way down.
Smell: Fruity, very lightly citrusy over the bready, biscuity malts, sweet-scented light-colored syrups, liquor, spice, and yeasty dough balls.
Taste: Lightly biscuit-toned malts sprinkled with candi sugar and accented by fruity hints of Golden Delicious apples and pineapple, with a slight backing of faintly tart berries. Lightly spicy hops, low bitterness. Small spritz of alcohol. Iota of white pepper, maybe a single clove bud. Curled candied citrus peel. Some sensible warmth to the drying, sudsy finish.
Mouthfeel: Medium-plus body. Medium-plus carbonation. Creamy mouthfeel.
Overall: All in all, M6 is a pretty tasty, competent blonde.
