Drinkability é boa apesar do corpo.

Pours amber, clear until the bottom of the bottle, with a solid three fingers of head. The initial aroma is reminiscent of a wheat beer. Yeasty, fruity, slightly herbal. The herbal scent seems to strengthen, sage almost. There's a slightly toasted aroma, similar to what you might get from a moderately smoky scotch. The palate is light to medium bodied, predominantly dry. There's a pretty interesting complexity there with some herbal notes. The finish is rather short. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle. Slightly murky honey color, lasting foam head. Aroma is a nice sour bouquet of lemon, hint of pine, hint of cheese, fresh cut grass. Reminds a bit of Karmeliet. Taste is sour (lemon, lemon candies, grass, hay) but develops a sweet tone (cherry?), bitter-dry aftertaste. Ok.

Quintessential Belgian blonde ale. Easy to drink and not too boozy which is a welcome change of pace in the land of high-gravity beer. Had this after a quick stop at the abbey at the Maredsous cafe down the hill. Great pairing for some country cooking (Maredsous cheese, celery soup, pumpkin quiche, and of course a croque monsieur).
