TAP: Served in the Maredsous Blonde goblet (bonus appearance point), this pour is dark gold with a one finger white head and nice lacing. Aroma of yeast, honey/fruit, malt. Taste is light biscuit, yeast, candied sugar - like those candy ribbons at Christmas. Aftertaste is yeasty and slightly bitter.

Pours a beautiful deep cleat golden color with an aggressive white head and some lacing. Fruity aromas feel the nose as well as notes of Belgian yeast. The taste bready with hints of grain. It’s clean and refreshing. There is also a subtle spice taste. This is a medium bodied beer which coats the tongue with a pleasing feel. Nice balance of effervescence on top with a clean but spicy finish. Would buy again. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

bunget (140) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - MAY 6, 2012
330ml bottle. A cloudy yellow-orange body with a medium white head, quick dissipation, Nose is yeasty, as you would expect from a true Belgian, orange peel, hops, nutmeg, nice spiciness. Taste is of course yeasty, a little spicy, hint of hops, nutmeg, brown sugar, a little lighter than expected. It’s carbonated like champagne. Very nice, Belgian nice.

Golden hazy colour with a nice foamy head. Much malt/bread in the smell with hints of citrus and some hops. Rather balanced body with a nice palate. Malty taste, some bitterness in the background, hint of citrus and a nice finish of hop bitterness that feels in tha back of the mouth.
