Pours a cloudy pale gold with a huge head of white-tan foam. Nose is of yeast and bread. Very creamy on the palate, the taste is fruity, with some yeast overtones, light malt, and a slight puckering feeling at the finish. A complex beer with a very satisfying taste. Great alone of can be paired with light cheeses or fondue.

Clear gold colored beer with a white layer of foam. It has a somewhat sweet and also hoppy aroma. Nice, full, bitter taste, but not to much. It has a subtile bitter aftertaste, but it wonít last for long.
Helder, goudkleurig blond bier met een stevige witte kraag. Ietwat zoetig en tevens happig aroma. Lekkere, volle bittere smaak, maar niet overheersend. De nasmaak is subtiel bitter en blijft niet lang hangen.

3.1 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Accessible Belgian blond. Taste of malt and Belgian yeast with some bitter hops in the dry aftertaste. Less positive about the slight metallic taste and overall lack of depth. Nice alternative to a standard larger but nothing special.

I bought four of these on a free shop next to my city and was not disappointed. This Belgian represents very nicely itís style. The aroma has a very intense caramel and a light note of coffee, the color is almost a brown gold, it forms a thin layer of foam. The taste is maybe a bit too bitter and may prejudice the drinkability.

But though said, why then, must the blonde be? Well, it is so, and then time moved forward.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Dumpy 33cl bottle: BBD 05 2016, poured into a Westmalle chalice during 11 2013.
Looks good, almost clear golden body with a full and lasting foam blanket of white bubbles, I donít mind the slight haze if all the beer leaves the bottle.
The aroma was of semi-sweet fruits (apricots, oranges and peaches) dipped into Belgian yeasts: almost like a fruity breakfast spread of marmalade or jam.
The taste was a little less sweet, with the yeast taking centre stage, an old, musty feel arrived which added to the whole flavour. Herbal, spicy notes kept my taste buds interested and i thought it was a good brew from start to finish.
Body and mouth feel were fine and this is a fine beer, I look forward to finding it on-tap somewhere one day.

Bottle from Rythmn and Booze. Hazy blonde. Minimal, white head. Yeasty, unripe apple, some clove. Taste is yeasty dry. Nice, tart palate. Finish is tart and peppery dry. Overall though, a little on the thin side. I wonder if it improves with age?

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
An enjoyable beer that makes a nice change from the standard IPA. Distinctive "Belgian" taste and not too strong (to have another) - whatís not to like.

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
hazy golde n colour, huge white head, which collapses quickly; aroma and taste of yeast, grassy hops and some malts - very similar to Maredsous 10, with a bit less hop dominance and body and a bit more carbonation; great ale
