Bottle. Pours light amber-orange with thick head. Yeasty and doughy. Slightly sour with fruity notes of apples and pears. A hint of phenolics. Medium to light body with some sweetness from malt. Again slightly sour with apple and pear notes. Just a hint of phenolics and finished with a bitter yeast-alcohol bite. Sour sweet aftertaste.

Deep orange and hazy beer with a medium, firm and durable head. The aroma is sharply spiced and herbal, somewhat caramelly and fruity. There´s at least banana esthers and maybe cherries? The aroma is a bit yeasty too. Flavor is moderately bitter, dryish and there´s some sour fruitness in the finish. Long, bitter finish with yeast and some berries and a hint of alcohol. Palate is medium bodied, a bit thin and slick. Long and bitter finish. Very easy to drink. Nice spiciness.

Biggish offwhite head. Hazy amber body. Fruity softly metallic pepper aroma, quite mild. Sweetish fruity soft metallic peppery taste with bubblegum notes. Sharpish mouthfeel. Dryish peppery tropical fruit aftertaste, somewhat watery. It’s OK, but not very special. (0.33l bottle, Systembolaget, Charlottenberg.)

Golden color with a frothy white head that stays forever. Fresh malty aroma with hints of dried fruit and yeast. Quite plain sweet malty flavor with spices, fruit and a touch of sourness. Bitter vinous finish. Lightbodied and well carbonated.

Bottled 33cl. It pours a deep golden beer with a decent head. The nose is of glue, brown sugar and hops. Poor taste. High bitterness. Dry finish.

Tasted 30/10/2008, 330ml bottle from Regionals. Hazy orange gold, white head. Richer bready malt than I get from most blonds, balanced nicely with a decent little combination of clove and spicy orange-like hop. nice pithy bitterness in the finish. Decent beer that’s a good step above the average blond on the streets of Wellington (I’m thinking Leffe and La Trappe rather than the ladies).
