Bottled. Pours hazy orange colour with a medium off-white head and sticky lacing. Pretty big aroma with a little spice, caramel and some oranges. Nice flavour with more spice and citrus, plus a little yeast at the top. Easy to drink.

Wahrscheinlich ein prima Bier. Aber nach dem Trippel von Maredsous etwas enttäuschend. Die Farbe ist cool, goldgelb mit schönem Schaum. Der Grundgeschmack ist sehr satt, leicht bitter.

Bottle 09.17. Aroma of yeast and flowers, malt and wheat in background. Light golden, clear. White five fingered head, overcarbonated. Very fresh in taste - wheat, grass, yeast. Low bitterness, grassy and bready aftertaste. Medium carbonation, light body, slick texture, little notes of alcohol. Very refreshing and drinkable.

Bottle. Clear golden amber beer, medium white head. Nose is caramel, malt, yeast, hoppy notes. Flavor is malty, some spice and blegian yeast, watery caramel. Hops in the finish with acidic maltiness. Fruity-hoppy finish with "belgian" notes in the retronasals. Not bad, a bit plain.

Mousse blanche, couleur jaune clair, arôme levures, goût sucré, épices, cela manque de corps, dommage! 33Cl Vanuxeem

Bottle - pours hazy gold with a small lacy head. Aroma is clove, banana and something a bit sweet. Taste is spicey up front, then a light dry finish. Moderate palate.

Bottle from Alcostock in Tallinn harbour (€ 2.49). BB 06.2017. Pours clear pale golden with a big creamy white head. Soapy lace, good retention. The aroma is that of typical Belgian yeast, it’s somewhat spicy, fruity esters. Tastes bittersweet, sugary. Quite unsatisfying on the palate, doesn’t really fill your mouth. It leaves a vague dryness and some indistinct vapours in the mouth. As such it’s what I consider a pretty mindless drinking beer that you shouldn’t really savour... Then again, it’s 6%. Palate dryish, body near watery light, somewhat grainy (wheaty) texture, abrupt bitterish finish. Overall - average. The aroma saves it. Edit: so does pouring in the yeast, it acquires a whole lot of character... had it been like this from the start, I’d have given it a 3.4 easily.
